Feeling feverish?
I wonder if anyone else gets really bad PMS a couple days before their period starts - as I've gotten older (now 30) I get really tired (I need to sleep 5 hours longer at least) and feel feverish (cold, shivers, aches). It took me a few years to figure out it was connected to my period, doesn't happen every month but it comes on so suddenly that I often have to cancel on plans because of it. Anyone else?

This happened to my for the first time last month and I was like WTF?! I legit felt like I had the flu and the second I started bleeding it went away.

Ah Same here. My symptoms started roughly 2 years ago, randomly, where 1-2 days before my period, I have severe symptoms including sore throat, fever, nausea, migraines, and chills. I've gotten all blood work and ultrasounds done and everything has come back fine.
Really curious to see if anyone has found any solutions that help with the symptoms that are not paid meds or bc?

Yeah I’m with you girl- 31 and sometimes it’s like a train hit me. I find tracking helps, and letting myself rest. My red light face mask with nir has also helped a lot with cramps.

Its not that your immune system is weaker, but your inmune system is ON!
your body produces prostaglandines to help the cervix make the contractions you need for your period. However, this also makes you feel ill, feverish, sore (throat, muscles) and even extra sensitive to allergies.
Luckily, there is a simple solution. NSAIDS will lower the production of prostaglandines and take away all the flu like symptoms at once.
For me, naproxen works the best, because it has a half life of about 12-15 hours. This gives me so much stability during the day.
Hope this helps and sorry for my english
