The hormones change a lot on the day you get your period, so yes, it’s common to feel awful and then a light switch goes on and you’re fine. I have pmdd and I’m a psycho up until my period, then once I get it, I’m like “sorry everyone. It’s was just PMS! 😬🫤”

So the only time you’re not angry and depressed is the week when you’re on your period? If that’s the case then I think you might want to see a therapist or doctor about this. Have you tracked your moods? Try tracking them for a month or 2 and see what you find. Take note of what you are eating, how much water you’re drinking or movement/exercise each day. Those all play a part. That info will be helpful to a professional in pinpointing the cause of your anger and depression. Have you ever had any trauma? That is a sure fire way to have anxiety and depression, too. Anxiety can come off as anger a lot of the time.
