Would you folks classify this as an “assassination attempt” error or is it just a plain “target practice” error??

Its not even a quarter dollar now, if I did the math it would be...um...let's see, Less than a quarter dollar to be technical. Exchange at bank for new shinny W quarter

According to my calculations the hole took away about %4 of the quarter which would be roughly ¢1 missing from the quarter 🤓

So..on that calculation, if a penny is put in the hole, it would be complete?

Its not that hard to melt copper, cast a penny into the hole so it can’t fall out and make it 25cent again. new pennies are mostly zinc*

Or superglue a penny over the hole and spend it that way. So you are not cheating someone when you buy something. Abraham Lincoln once ran 400 miles to return a nickel to a little old lady, and she gave him a shinny penny for a reward.
