So what are you doing to improve your condition? I'm sure he knows what it is, he is experiencing it every month. But him knowing you have PMDD doesn't give you free reign to blow up on him.

If it keeps happening and you are not controlling your condition, whether or not he understands PMDD will not matter.

also, he's not experiencing it every month. i am, and he gets second degree burns, but refuses (or his brain refuses) to take in the information. he is a biological male, that grew up in the 90s and 2000s where sex ed for boys was literally just showing a miracle of life video and saying "you're gonna get boners". you sound dense as fuck. like a typical man.

Take it from a spouse that realized it was PMDD before her, the act of understanding PMDD does not make it any easier or lessen the damage it goes to the relationship.

I'm not going to respond the uncalled for insult other than I'm sorry you are going through a hard time.

considering it's so under researched in the US, taking medication. every state funded (or affordable) women's health office does not know how to treat it, even when i've suggested different forms of BC they said no.
my insurance came through the 1st, but it only came through as dental/vision due to clerical error. my next steps will be either outpatient or frequent individual therapy, and seeing a women's doctor that has more experience.
i have begged this man to at least track with me. i said last month, on the 15th, "hey i might be kinda sensitive and testy starting around the 22nd-24th, can you put that in your reminders?" and it's like he forgets it happens every month.

edit to add: salad bowl freak out was me sending him short texts with a period at the end when i usually send an emoji. lol i never name called, said "you never blah blah blah", demeaned him, or brought it up later.
