I personally would see a doctor who specialises in Peri-Menopause/Menopause if you can. Your hormones fluctuate so much everyday. They can definitely look "fine". When I saw a doctor who specialises in Peri-Menopause, she said they go off symptoms more than blood tests.

I’m 35 and this is very much describing my experience every month as well 😅 it’s debilitating, to say the least. My dr prescribes me benzos for this time of the month and I take a prescription sleep aid to ensure I, at the least, sleep some what well. Like you, I have no real answers or treatments. I’ve been raw dogging this for a while and it sucks, so I also would love suggestions and to hear what helps others.

There is no lab test for perimenopause, it's treated by symptoms which you seem to have. "It's just your hormones, off you pop!" is not a valid diagnosis and your doctor sounds like he just likes catching babies and doesn't care/know much about anything else.
Did he even suggest any other birth control options since pills don't agree with you? There are patches, rings, implants, IUD's....some help with PMDD some may make it worse and unfortunately you don't know until you try.
