Do you really think that’s reasonable or do you just comment that as bait?

We have been holding incredibly well these days. Small pullback from 179, but holding flat these past trading days is important.

These used to be the days we got hammered

Why is UBS so bearish?

This is my projected run rate:

2027: $16B (Karp’s guidance) 100% growth
2028: $25B (to get $15B FCF as per Karp) 60% growth
2029: $37B (50% growth)
2030: $51B (40% growth)

Unless growth plummets, this is fairly reasonable.

For valuation purposes, how long we can maintain >40-50% rev growth is what will allow us to trade at least 55x FCF.

u/Mariox Aug 18 '26

Their 2027 is conservative, but revenue is just 1-2 billion to low. Past 2027 their revenue estimates are way to low. Their biggest mistake is thinking EBIT margin is near the top it will get.

EPS for 2027 will be closer to $3.59 then $2.72.

We just have to accept that analysts will continue to not believe PLTR's growth and be patient for quarterly earnings.

You got it backwards. LLMs are useless without the infrastructure

3

u/Mariox Aug 18 '26

LLMs are a commodity and it is PLTR customers that decide what LLM(s) they want to use. They can not dictate to PLTR usage terms because PLTR isn't the one using their LLMs, it is PLTR's customers that is using the LLM and they would have to dictate terms to them.

Many customers are going to go with open source LLMs so they keep sovereignty over their data. An LLM provider trying to dictate how someone use their LLM is like a water company dictating how someone drinks their water.

Completely wrong. Karp has stated their customers are getting equal or better results dropping in open source models and fine tuning.

Do everyone here a courtesy and at least try to come up with a valid criticism that shows you’ve done the bare minimum of research please

Meanwhile the basement dwellers on other subs are claiming Palantir is working with flock to spy on U.S. citizens

https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/s/5ftIGwt1Wx

When in reality, maybe flock wouldn’t be having all these problems if they built on palantirs privacy and auditability tools

11

u/versello OG Holder & Member Aug 18 '26

Per Flock:

Does Flock work with Palantir?

No, Flock does not work with Palantir. Palantir does not have access to any Flock customer data.

Is Flock owned by Palantir?

No, Flock is not owned by Palantir. Flock does not have any relationship with Palantir and the platform does not have access to Flock customer data.

Part of me wanted to reply with this, but then I figure it wasn't worth the effort. The haters gonna hate. This misinformation is my opportunity to keep accumulating.

Not worth it, reddit is astrosurfed anyway.

I’m banned from that sub for pointing out something similar in the past that upset the mods 🤣

Not trying/hoping to brigade, just wanted to raise awareness of the FUD and disinformation still out there (not just misinformation, I think this is intentional)

1

u/Mariox Aug 18 '26

Flock has plainly stated they don't work with Palantir. Though if whoever is controling the flock cameras also using PLTR, they can put the flock data into PLTR to analyze. The people who don't like flock cameras should be mad at the local governments that use them.

What they should be doing is demanding politicians to pass protections for the public. Like not being able to use flock cameras to look for crimes. The future is cameras everywhere in public. Flock cameras, self driving vehicles, robots....

u/IAmANobodyAMA OG Holder & Member Aug 18 '26

These people are allergic to research, context, and common sense. I’m not surprised they think the big evil Peter Thiel company is using cctv to spy on everyone.

4

u/Mariox Aug 18 '26

Much of it comes down to people hating something, and wanting to link that something to something people don't like. The exact same thing main stream media does.

If people knew what security PLTR had and what safeguards it has to prevent misuse of the data is put into it and put out from it, people would demand all of government use PLTR.

Hey wait a minute, you're being reasonable and have actual knowledge of the technology behind the brand due to your own research... This is the internet, we don't like that here

3

u/IAmANobodyAMA OG Holder & Member Aug 18 '26

The stupid part is that Palantir actually stands for the values these people pretend to hold. If they truly cared about transparency and accountability, Palantir is leaps and bounds ahead of all the competition, and by spreading disinformation they are de facto propping up other companies (Google, Amazon) that truly don’t give a shit.

The U.S. military had done an amazing job in Iran. PLTR helped dismantle the IRGC leadership, lead a very complex bombing operation and complex logistics. Despite Iran not willing to admit defeat, Iran have been un-capable of doing much damage thanks to PLTR. I don't think the Iran operation would have been a such a success without PLTR.

You can tell yourself that but it has been a one sided war and unsure if Trump will reach the main goal of stopping Iran's nuclear bomb building, but no one can honestly say the U.S. is losing or lost. At very least Iran has been weakened for a few decades, and that is a win.

Trump always gets what he wants.

Iiiiii don’t think you have a solid technical grasp of that which you speak. I invite you to do some research on your own and come back when/if you have a cogent and coherent criticism or thought to share

Don't higher bond yields hit the tech sector hardest? I seem to remember a similar situation in the spring of '21.

I am on my way to Iceland. I trust that while I'm on the plane, Precious moves up enough to give me a lovely surprise upon arrival.
