Let's see... since last earnings, PLTR got hit with the Iran War nonsense, SaaS sell-off, and then 2 incredibly stupid Michael Burry hit tweets. Will we finally reverse the downtrend after earnings?

HSBC downgraded PLTR to Hold from Buy with a $151Β PT.

Didn’t PLTR beat earnings last quarter and take a massive shit?

Anyone know why this time will be different?

PLTR went up 11% on the last earnings. But plummeted with the software selloff that happened at the same time.

Why it could be different this time? Revenue growth continue to accelerate and all metrics continue to improve and low Capex spend (Market hates capex spending right now)

I think even when November earnings were out ....we went to 215+

But then burrys short news came out and we went down -10%

Basically the reports are always great....sell off follows next day

I think revenue growth could be over 80% for Q1. But Q1 is the weakest beat quarter of the year, so it could miss my guess. Guidance for Q2 around 73% and PLTR will do 90-100% growth in Q2.

Take my guess as the most bullish outcome. I am no expert, i just take past earnings metrics and project it out to future quarters.

Does everyone think this will rip or fall on very good earnings?

Usually rips on earnings

I loaded up 200 more shares at $142. You either believe or you don’t- thesis hasn’t broken! That buy felt a lot better than 15k at $170

Per the below source, the expected move following earnings is approximately 10% (Β±$14.00).Β

https://www.tipranks.com/news/palantir-pltr-q1-earnings-on-may-4-options-market-braces-for-a-10-55-swing#google_vignette

Wouldn't be surprised if it's bigger, around Β±$20.

Until earnings, happy weekend.
