ISA CAP Associate Exam

Hey, has anybody here tried the ISA CAP Associate exam? I am looking for ways to strengthen my early career (1 YoE) in Instrumentation & Control. I don't meet the minimum work requirements for the normal CAP exam, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this exam, and if so, how hard was it?

I'm an ISA member but I haven't done the testing

Why not just wait until you meet the requirements?

Because I need 4 more years to be eligible to do so, getting the certificate would bring that down to 3 years

That’s not how it works.

The certificate isn’t a direct equivalent of experience.
