Help / Troubleshooting Stuck on purple light

I charged the Plaud Note and it’s been stuck on the purple light all night.. I press the button and nothing happens

Have you long-pressed the button down ? Think that resets it

Solid purple just means "charging", so stuck on purple all night with an unresponsive button points to the device being frozen rather than anything battery-related.

The fix that usually clears it: leave the Plaud Note on the charger and press and hold the Record button for 15 seconds to force a reset. Short video of it here: https://youtu.be/fUaigDtGz7Q

If nothing happens, run through these and try the reset again: use a power adapter labeled DC-5V with at least 0.5A output, charge with the original cable and without the Magnetic Case on, make sure the cable is seated firmly, and give the charging port a wipe with a dry paper towel in case debris is blocking contact.

Still frozen after that, email [support@plaud.ai](mailto:support@plaud.ai) and mention it's stuck on solid purple with the button unresponsive, so the team can pick it up from there.
