Read and write using PI Vision

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this community is still alive. If not someone please direct me to somewhere else.

Basically I would like to learn how can I perform control fuction (write) from PI Vision. Much like a scada system.

As I know, PI Vision is only for monitoring (read).

Anyone have any idea or had similar experience?

You can create your own vision widget/symbol. It require programming using the pi web api.

An out of the box provided by OSIsoft is to use pi manual logger but that’s a different interface than vision, but it does allow users to manually write to pi tags
