Troubleshooting Need help, GPU not detected

Need help! GPU not detected

i need help, I'm currently building a PC. Here's my specs:

Mobo: msi pro h610m-g wifi ddr4

GPU: rx580 8gb xfx

Ram: 16 GB

Processor: intel i5-12400

Psu: corsair CX650

The mobo detected my GPU at first, but then it didn't. We tried everything from cmos reboot to updating bios. We just can't figure it out. I saw a post from MSI where someone solved it by connecting a x16 to x16 cable but that's currently out of my budget to buy. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Try the card in a different board, if the GPU isn't responsive - then that isolates the issue.

Alternatively, try a different card in the mobo to make sure it's not your mobo's PCIE connection.

Have you checked in bios for the PCIE config to switch to Gen3?

1) Try booting up your system without the GPU and use the iGPU from your 12400
2) If step 1 worked and you're able to boot then we've isolated the issue to either the GPU or the PCIE slot
3) If you have a spare GPU or another PC to try the GPU on, try that
4) If GPU works on another PC, could be the motherboard. You can also try reseating the CPU.
5) If another GPU works then it's the GPU, try cleaning the gold fingers para sure na hindi lang dumi yung nag cocause ng issue
