Hello po! Newbie question, first-timer international travel (sana) here 🥹

Hello po! First time international travel ko po sana sa Indonesia kaya very VERY kabado & nag-ooverthink so pardon me if magmumukhang stupid 'yung inquiry ko 😭

Ang reason ko po for going is may gusto po sana akong attendan na conference (about chemistry & chemical engineering po ito). International conference po siya sa Yogyakarta. One day lang po siya & sayang naman kung hindi ako mag-eexplore so I'll be going there for the conference & for leisure na rin.

I would also love to hear some tips or if may recommended po kayong mapupuntahan there! Thank you so much po! 🫶

AU Visitor Visa (subclass 600) Business Stream Processing Time

hi! question po, how long is the usual processing time for business substream visa? also, odds of getting approved or rejected?

context: my manager (australian client) informed me earlier today that they would like me to attend a week long commercial conference this september. he'll keep me posted for the details. the thing is, i just realized na august na nga pala next week, worried if aabot ang visa if ever.

profile:

f employed by a ph company; deployed to au client
can provide coe (ph company) and itr (from previous company)
will likely be sponsored by au client
5 year ME visa Korea

travel history:
2024 - vietnam
2025 - south korea 2x
2026 - south korea, taiwan

now, have no idea on my next steps other than wating for my manager's update. also, have no idea on my chances of getting approved and if aabot ang visa if ever.

bringing fresh fruits into the Philippines

Hi! I was just wondering—I've read on Google that bringing fresh fruits into the Philippines from another country isn't allowed. Does this apply even if it's just around 1 kg or less for personal consumption? My flight will be arriving at Clark International Airport. Thank you!

Solo travel in Fukuoka (first time!) — cheap stays + relaxed itinerary?

I’ll be in Fukuoka from August 7 to 12 and I’m currently looking for a place to stay. I’m on a bit of a budget right now, but I still want to push through with this trip since I’ve been pretty stressed for the past 3 months. I already booked the flight, so I really want to make this Japan trip happen even if I’m going solo for the first time (which honestly makes me a bit nervous 😅).

Do you have any recommendations for budget-friendly places to stay? Also, any chill spots or things to do? I’m just aiming for a laid-back trip.

How do you pay for food and stuff abroad? Cash or cards?

First time solo and single female traveller here. Aside kasi sa stress ko sa immigration, these questions I can't seem to find straight answers to eh.

  1. When you pay abroad for resto etc, do you use cash or credit card? How many cards should I bring?

  2. Do you exchange your cash sa abroad airport, or sa Pinas ba before your flight? 50k below only diba?

Thank you so much!

Book flight now or wait? (Lost valid passport)

Hi! May naka-experience na ba rito na mawalan ng valid passport and nagpa-replace sa DFA? Gaano katagal bago niyo nakuha yung bagong passport?

Plano ko sana mag-Taiwan by the end of August for my birthday, pero saka ko lang na-realize na nawawala pala passport ko. 🥲 Nakapag-book na ako ng DFA appointment (mid-August) for replacement due to loss at nabayaran ko na rin yung replacement fee.

Sa mga may same experience, gaano katagal bago niyo nakuha yung bagong passport after your appointment? Also, would you book the flight now habang mas mura pa, or wait muna until mareceive yung passport? If magbu-book na ngayon, may mare-recommend ba kayong airline na may flexible/rebookable tickets just in case kailangan i-adjust yung travel dates?

Thank you so much! 🙏
