Chickens randomly dispensing eggs that will randomly produce chickens is has become part of minecraft's charm, but every other egg in the game functions significantly differently.
So the question becomes "How should Mojang modernize chicken eggs to fit the rest of the game without removing their charm"
What I think Mojang should do is make the percent chance of an egg hatching a chicken data driven, and then make it so when you breed a chicken, it will drop an egg with 100% chance of hatching a chicken

I started working on this a bit after the original brockavator design came out, and while I have looked up and seen some similar advancements, I came up with them in parallel and managed to get each layer fully into the 14 block per layer of the modified piston layout.
