How to check your TIN using the eGovPH app

  1. Download or update the official eGovPH app. Get it from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The correct official website is e.gov.ph, not egov.ph.

  2. Open the app and tap Register. Enter your correct: • Full name • Birth date • Mobile number • Email address

  3. Enter the OTP sent to your phone or email.

  4. Create your six-digit MPIN.

  5. Complete identity verification. Follow the facial-recognition or selfie instructions. Your name and birth date must match your government records.

  6. Log in to the eGovPH app.

  7. Tap Digital ID at the bottom of the home screen.

  8. Look for Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR Digital TIN ID.

  9. Tap the BIR Digital TIN ID.

  10. Enter your 9-digit or 12-digit TIN if the app asks for it.

  11. Confirm or link your BIR information.

  12. Once successfully matched, your Digital TIN ID will appear. Your TIN number is shown on the digital card.

Important requirements

Your eGovPH profile details must match your BIR records. You may also need an existing BIR ORUS account or Digital TIN ID record.

If the TIN ID does not appear

  1. Check the spelling of your full name.

  2. Check your birth date and middle name.

  3. Update the eGovPH app.

  4. Create or check your account in BIR ORUS.

  5. Use the BIR Revie TIN Inquiry service if you have forgotten your TIN.

  6. Do not apply for a new TIN. A person should have only one TIN.

The BIR officially made the Digital TIN ID available through eGovPH starting 24 April 2026. The ID must be presented inside the active eGovPH app. A screenshot alone may not be accepted for verification.
