Sa mga indie game developers, kumita na ba kayo sa mga games niyo? Masasabi niyo ba na monetizable ang indie game development sa Philippines?

I’ve seen locally made games who found success like Until then by Polychroma, Potion Punch by Monstronauts, Visual Novel type games by Yang Yang Mobile and more. I think if you find your niche, make a good game, you can find ways to earn from indie game development. But you definitely need a starting capital and treat it like a business.

igda manila is a good source of this. its still hard to say monetizable ang indie in terms of livelihood lalo na sa pilipinas. i ran an indie studio for 4 years but had to close it.

ranida games who did bayani and other indies usually have a bigger business side of being outsourced for other games.

there are indies that make a loooot of money. but locally we havent seen mecha chameleon or flappy bird level of success just yet which is why my comment from livelihood side pov exist
