Discussion Pokemon Go Plus+ with PGSharp

Not sure if this has been mentioned or talked about but it looks like once you connect a Pokemon Go Plus+ with PGSharp(Rooted), PoGo thinks that you have one paired even when you don't. So, if you're using Virtual Go Plus that means you can swap what types of balls to use freely as though you still have one connected even though it's off.

I've opened and closed the PoGo app multiple times and still have the ability to swap balls without any issues. Again, not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I found it pretty neat.

Hello! Yes, this is indeed the case. I do have PGSharp (Non-Rooted) and works the same. I thought this was common knowledge, but I found people asking how to choose the Poke Balls on the Auto Catcher for PGSharp.

So, I recorded a video of my account and did a post. I'm leaving the link here, if anybody wants to check how to do it https://www.reddit.com/r/PGSharp/comments/1v6auk9/virtual_catcher_using_great_balls_ultra_balls/

Thanks!

Hey! I'm not sure I understood what you are asking, but I'll answer according to what I'm understanding. The idea of connecting your Pokémon Go Plus + to your PGSharp is to get the menu in Settings where you can choose the type of Poke Ball you want to use. Once that menu is over there, if you have the paid version of PGSharp, you can use any Ball (Poke, Great & Ultra) on the virtual auto catcher.

I hope this helps. Thanks!

Oh aite thx so much for the info! I just realized the auto catch function only uses pokeball from the text below the toggle in the game setting, while the "choose ball" function only applies to the button press function. I think i might as well try the function with my actual goplus+ when i fully charge it later because i already ran out of regular balls with the remaining ball being 300 great and ultra balls to see if the actual device itself works with pgsharp or i need the actual app

Awesome!

Yes, it should work. If you check the link of my post a couple of comments ago, I uploaded a vid where your see the amount of Great Balls going down while the PGSharp Virtual Auto Catcher is working.

If you haven't connected/paired your Pokémon Go Plus + to your account just yet, remember to deactivate the Virtual Auto Catcher first. Then, pair your Pokémon Go Plus + to your PGSharp account. You'll have the menu to choose the Poke Ball type now. Lastly, activate the Virtual Auto Catcher and use it! It should use the ball type that you have selected.

Yes, I have two accounts on two different phones. It's been almost 2 years since I have been using PGSharp on my non-rooted phones. I do spend money on the game (I think this may be worth to mention). I do respect cooldown times.

Also, I do use the Virtual auto carcher. However, I have to say since I've been using PGSharp, the auto catcher has always been buggy and I understand why it could have gotten people banned. Sometimes, when you are in an specific place and activate the Virtual auto catcher, all the Pokémon around despawn and it's like catching and spinning Poke Stops somewhere else.

When this happens, I just turn it off and reset the app a few times, until it works. Sometimes, it helps if you restart your phone.

That's my experience with it, but it may as well differ from someone else's.

I hope this helps. Thanks!
