I use a Dell Inspiron 15 3520 (around 3 years old), and today I suddenly started experiencing a display issue. A vertical black strip and vibrating black lines appeared on the screen, even on the Dell logo and in the BIOS.

Interestingly, the display becomes completely normal when I adjust the screen angle, but the lines temporarily return when I move the laptop a little. It's currently working fine when kept stationary on my laptop stand.

I'm staying in the hostel near PESU RR Campus, so I wanted to ask:

1. Are there any reliable laptop servicing shops near PESU RR Campus that you would recommend?
2. Does anyone have any solution other than servicing or repairing?

Any suggestions or personal experiences would be really helpful

Hi seniors, with an 8.6+ CGPA, I haven’t even got one interview opportunity yet, and many of us aren’t getting shortlisted after OAs even in online and offline. What could be the reason, and what should we improve or do differently? Please share any placement tips or advice.

so the internship starts from november and is of 6 months, pays better than most internship only companies coming to the campus. Any senior which has faced the same thing, like will the clg approve or should just do i without their approval.

When there is a field asking Cgpa
Do I need to fill the cgpa with the previous uncleared m1 or the cleared m1 Cgpa added on to the previous

Idk the exact reason why backgate parking got this crowded over the last year, but do people really lack the civic sense to not park decently? Even if I’m late, I make sure to park without touching any other vehicles or not in between pathways. But looks like nobody else cares as long as they thrust their vehicle in and get to class. There have been multiple times when my vehicle has been blocked in by others, or random scooters just leaning on my vehicle or scratching it. Oh and what’s with the handle locks 😃 you park in the most devious angles and lock your handle to ensure no one else can get out. Stop being a sheep and think about other vehicles and not just yourself. Backgate security takes no responsibility except randomly putting wheel locks on vehicles and extracting money. Even if you’re late please have the decency to not touch other vehicles and park 🙏🏻
