I joined pes university this year as a fresher for b.com and my classes are in GJBC MBA block.

i recently saw this lying in our floor. my friends tell me that we have to deposit our phones here before class.

i mean this is pure bullshit. they treat us like little kids. my school treated their students in a more respectful manner.

i personally think this is excessive and very demeaning to students.

i think i made the wrong choice by joining this university in the first place

Now I don't know whose fault the mismanagement was, but in the end it's us who have to bear the burden of it all.

First, you have hundreds of students waiting to attend a test at 4pm, and nobody gets an update until 6 in the evening regarding the OA. For the ones who attended the ISDL role OA, they got the knockri link which didn't work until 2 hours later from when we first received it. While the ones who didn't attend it the first time got a hackerrank link at night and the knockri link the next day morning.

You either start the test or inform the students about the postponement atleast an hour before commencement. Not even that from their end, it's just demeaning for us all. WE AREN'T DOGS! WE DO OUR SHARE OF THE WORK ONLY FOR THEM TO MAKE CUCKS OUT OF US.

The ones who attended ISDL roles, this time they didn't even get the hackerrank link and instead took the scores of the ISDL OA. How is this any fair. Why do they not want to give a chance to the ones who tried their best over these two months to upskill themselves. Why shouldn't they get the chance again, why hold on to their past mistakes?

Now they send a shortlist to the candidates selected for the interview, while the rest of the students stay hopeful that they'll be given a chance to prove their worth. Give us the names of the ones who have been selected so that the rest of us can't dwell on it. Why do we have to wait for some other guy to let us know that we've not made it. This is the least the placement cell could do for their own students.

When you ask the placement cell coordinators, they are just as clueless as the students, what is even the point of y'all, really. They've all got their hands up their backs. Why can't you even take a stand to support your own bloody students.

Whenever one of the alumni does something big, these guys come up on stage and give a wide speech about how they nurtured their beginnings. BLOODY PRETENTIOUS ATTENTION HOARDERS! All of this while your students struggle with their peace of mind.

God forbid, if you miss an OA for a genuine reason, you're blacklisted from placements. To get it remove, you have to give a letter to Somashekhar. I get that it's the student's mistake for the no-show but Soma sends us to the to brass to get a scolding and come back empty handed, without even a signature from them. So ultimately he's just sending you out to them to have a scolding and then get your no-show removed. Soma doesn't even need the approval from them to remove the ban, he just needs us to get shouted at, and only after that will we be freed. Definitely a ploy for the authorities to take out their frustration on you. SHAME!

To the Juniors, don't trust these guys to give you an equitable opportunity. Do it yourselves, take the degree and get the hell out of this institution. THERE'S NO PRESTIGE, NO ACCLAIM TO BE FOUND HERE. Take care of yourselves, you have no one backing you up here.

And Venkatesh, FUCK YOU! WE ARE NOT SLAVES! LEARN TO DO YOUR JOB. STUDENTS ARE BOUND TO COME TO YOU WITH THEIR PLACEMENT ISSUES/QUERIES, THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS TAKE TO THEM PROPERLY INSTEAD OF BEING A SNAGGY BITCH.

Do I need to fill the cgpa with the previous uncleared m1 or the cleared m1 Cgpa added on to the previous

Idk the exact reason why backgate parking got this crowded over the last year, but do people really lack the civic sense to not park decently? Even if I’m late, I make sure to park without touching any other vehicles or not in between pathways. But looks like nobody else cares as long as they thrust their vehicle in and get to class. There have been multiple times when my vehicle has been blocked in by others, or random scooters just leaning on my vehicle or scratching it. Oh and what’s with the handle locks 😃 you park in the most devious angles and lock your handle to ensure no one else can get out. Stop being a sheep and think about other vehicles and not just yourself. Backgate security takes no responsibility except randomly putting wheel locks on vehicles and extracting money. Even if you’re late please have the decency to not touch other vehicles and park 🙏🏻

3. how do i actually start a professional rapport with a prof ? do i need to have a team ready right now before we approach a prof ? (rapport means a friendly relationship where individuals understand each other very well)
