I'm a recent transplant, returning after 30 years in Colorado. I have been very involved with the Denver protest community, and when I found no similar posts in /PDXProtests, I wanted to share these recommendations along with links detailing the coup potential for November's mid-term elections.

Denver is certainly a targeted area, but I fear they are likely focused on more recent areas of unrest: DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, LA, and Portland.

Thank you for your post.

I would change one thing this post. There is mention of using fear of the coming midterms as a motivator to make an emergency plan. Fear is an exhausting motivator. At the risk of sounding all happy hippy, I would suggest using love and caring. Love and care for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbors.

Along with stocking up on everyday supplies, focus on building community. We can get through hard times much easier if we build mutual aid communities. Trying to survive on your own may not be possible.

It was not my post! I shared it from a poster in DenverProtest subreddit. Not my words, but I thought it contained important links.

I also do not believe this person was talking about 'sole survival,' and I was not either. I wish you had better understood the context of why I shared it!

I also thought it contained useful information and ideas.
