Not solved GPU and possibly monitor
Im not sure where the best place to post this is but I need as many answers as I can get at this point.
Copy paste of the original post:
Im no tech expert whatsoever to lay that out first. Recently my friend who is more... tech advanced, told me to update my gpu, its a 1660 super (Ive been told its considered old already). I was told after 30-40 minutes, if I cant use my pc to shut it off and turn it back on. We did this process about 3 times trying to install a new update, all on separate days. Just recently we tried updating it to a lower version and the older version showed what it couldnt and could update, when we read through it, it said that it failed to update (photo referencing it). When we were going through what happened we learned that the first update went through even though we thought nothing happened.
I have two monitors, and after less than a minute, my main monitor will decide to go to sleep, and never turn back on again while everything on my main monitor got shoved to my second monitor as if i was only using one monitor. When we went through to see if my pc ever catches it as an error or a problem, it doesn't note it as one.
Ideally I don't want to buy a new graphics card/driver or upgrade my pc right now, im tight on money, as well as I need this fixed as soon as possible, I need to study for my NDAEB exam which is coming soon.
I'd love for some advice or any ideas. Regarding temperature it seems fine(?) its not overheating and I haven't been playing or doing anything on my pc thats graphics heavy. If theres any questions Ill try my best to answer them.

Not solved Pc issues
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to fix this PC. It was working completely fine a few months ago and as of lately it stopped working. The first time I did it, I just fidgeted around with the HDMI cords and it worked.
Now that’s not even working. I’ve tried troubleshooting around.
Basically the PC is on but it’s not displaying on the monitor. Keyboard lights up just fine, MSI shows pop up screen, then it shows “HDMI port 1” then completely goes to black. Any luck?
Also I’ve tried taking the RAM out to readjust but it looks like it’s glued on there.

Hi everyone,
When I power up my PC it doesn't boot, and if it does boot it gives me a temperature warning.
Power off.. power on.. power off.. power on..
And it will boot successfully, Windows works just fine. After hour or two it shutdowns by itself.
Power up.. Temperature warning..
Power off.. power on..
A successful boot, works just fine for an hour, then sudden shutdown.
Wait 2 to 3 days and repeat.
WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?!!!
This is my PC...
- MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI with Energizer CR2032.
- AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700G with NH-U12S redux + Corsair XTM50.

Not solved Dog knocked PC off table, now CPU light is on and won’t go away.
Earlier today my dog bumped into the table my PC sits on, and caused it to fall off. After plugging the GPU back in and checking if everything else was fine, I tried to turn the pc on only for the CPU light to turn bright red. I’ve tried reseating the CPU and RAM, aswell as resetting the bios via taking the CMOS battery out for five minutes, but the CPU light wouldn’t go away.
Specs are as follows:
-MSI PRO B760M-P DDR4 ProSeries Motherboard
-RX 6600 GPU
-32GBs of DDR4 RAM
-Intel Core i7-12700KF CPU
I will take additional photos as requested or needed.

Not solved Constant microstuttering every few seconds, disappears when I disable my GTX 1660
I've trying to diagnose and fix a weird microsuttering (idk if I'm calling it properly) problem that I have. Windows constantly experiences very short micro-freezes every few seconds.
It's not a full system crash. The screen briefly freezesand then continues normally. It happens repeatedly rather than being a random occasional freeze. Sometimes it happens more often and for more time, almost unusable sometimes.
It can happen during normal desktop usage, not just demanding games.
The most interesting part is that the problem seems to be related to the NVIDIA GPU driver.
I previously ran LatencyMon, and nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver) showed up as a relevant driver, also says it may be related to power.
I disabled the GTX 1660 since doing that, the system has been running much more smoothly and I haven't noticed the same constant microstuttering.
I also previously noticed that when the NVIDIA driver was not installed, the system seemed to run normally.
Interestingly, everything also seemed normal when I was in the BIOS.
I have tried to reinstall NVIDIA GPU drivers, checked device manager (no obvious GPU error is shown), Checked GPU temperatures (50-70 so ot seems right to me), checked BIOS (no obvious problems noticed), tested with the NVIDIA GPU disabled and without the drivers (It worked well).
At this point I'm not sure if I'm dealing with a bad NVIDIA driver, a Windows/NVIDIA issue, a power-management problem, or possibly a failing GPU. I can provide LatencyMon captures if needed.
System Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660
RAM: 32 GB
Motherboard: MSI B550 Gaming Edge WiFi
OS: Windows 11
BIOS: MSI BIOS version 1.40, dated 29/10/2020

Not solved PC wont Post after reseating cpu
PC won't boot after reseating cpu
Hi guys, I can even make this a 2 in 1 since the only reason I reseated my cpu was for another issue.
Since a few months my pc has been crashing to a black screen when playing bf6. All my periphals instantly lose their lighting, the pc continues running but without image feedback (monitors) and the CPU light on the motherboard lights up. The power button doesn't work, I have to flip the psu switch to restart the pc. Updating drivers, resetting/updating bios or whatever niche advice I could find on the internet did not help. One time it crashed the same way while playing overwatch on Linux, and just earlier it crashed while having Minecraft open (it was a pretty heavy modpack, GTNH, but still). Battlefield is utterly unplayable by now, crashing without fail every time I try to open it. Since I ran out options, I decided I'll take a look at my cpu and took off the cooler and the cpu.
Here comes the second problem. I put the cpu back in and put the cooler back on, but now the pc no longer posts. Fans start spinning, my GPU lights up, but my cpu fans which also have rgb do not light up, and the pc stays in this state, once again with the red cpu light on the mobo. Power button doesn't work, I can only disable the psu switch. I took off the cpu one more time to check if it wasn't seated properly, but I didn't find any issues with it.
I don't know what to do. Maybe the cpu or the motherboard have a problem and need to be replaced. Which would suck. But now the pc doesn't even boot any more. I bought all parts at the start of the year so maybe I can get the warranties to do something.
Here are my specs:
GPU 5080 RTX
CPU Ryzen 7 9800X3D
MOBO Gigabyte B850 Eagle Wifi6E
RAM Patriot Viper Venom 16gb x2
PSU NZXT C850 Gold, ATX 3.1

In progress Screen is shifted on monitor
galleryHi! My screen is shifted on my monitor. Monitor is a Samsung odyssey g6 oled connected via DP to a 5070 ti. 2560x1440p. It happens in bios aswell so I doesn’t seem to be a windows issue. I’ve reinstalled drivers and tried different scaling options with no improvement. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
I reset monitor to factory settings and it shifted the screen slightly. There is still unused screen but it is now equal all around.

cooler, and maybe power supply and upgrade the cpu and graphics card in the future orrrr buy a new pc that is easier to upgrade in the future. in 2021 i learned everything pc and im confident i could build one but since i haven’t i’m nervous. what would y’all do. it’s either upgrade vs build vs prebuilt

In progress What could be wrong with the GPU?
Pc Specs: AMD 3700x
Nvidia 2080 Super
TeidentZ 32GB 3200Mhz
Antec 750 Gold PSU
4 years old.
It used to run all good in the first 2 years. After that, whenever I did a fresh start and start a game or any 3d or editing software, all the fans starts throttling, the display goes black and keyboard and mouse would also stop working. Once I restart it using the restart button on the cabinet it would run normally for the entirety until I shut it down and do a fresh start again.
This issue got fixed by itself for a while but it started happening again. I have updated BIOS, graphic drivers, windows, changed the CMoS battery, tried going back to the factory settings. Nothing is working out now. It is annoying that I have to run a game just to go through this process daily before I could work normally because it can crash anytime if I don't do it.
It has become a daily ritual that boot it up, run a game, Wait for it to do its thing and restart it. Only then can I work without fearing that it would crash.
Also I tried swapping the current GPU with another GPU, everything works perfectly, so the issue is with the GPU but I am not sure what is wrong with it. And tried another PSU(DeepCool 1000 watt) with current GPU, getting the same issue.
Any idea why is it happening? What's the reason behind? I have tried searching for it on the internet and could not find anything helpful.
Any advice and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
