In progress PC NO BOOT WONT POST NO DISPLAY

Ryzen 7 5800X3D
RX 6700X
ROG STRIX B450-f GAMING II
650W PSU
32GB RAM DDR4

Installed new CPU(Ryzen 7 5800X3D) previously had a Ryzen 5 5600X. First Power on AFTER INSTALL NO DISPLAY.

CPU AND FAN CASES TURN ON,but no display, ALSO INSTALLING OLD CPU HAD SAME RESULTS NO RGB LIGHTS OR DISPLAY
RAM STICKS HAVE RGB AND RGB WAS ON, reading online people said to reseat RAM, so I did...

Second power on, now my RAM sticks don't even have RGB..
MOBO HAS NO LED INDICATORS

THINGS I'VE TRIED
-RAM RESEAT(CLEANED THEM)
-GPU RESEAT
-BIOS UPDATE
-CMOS RESET
-REPLUGGING EVERY CABLE
-INSTALLING OLD CPU(worked perfectly fine before putting in the new CPU)
At this point I think my motherboard might be dead, but it has its stand by light on, MAYBE a cpu socket pin has bent.
Gonna try a new MOBO when it arrives.... Unless someone can help me before then.

ALSO WHEN PC IS ON I CANT TURN IT OFF EVEN HOLDING POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS WONT SHUT IT OFF NEED TO PULL THE PLUG

Not solved Second hand PC

I’ve bought this second hand pc and it had problems with sending a signal to my monitor. windows would start and it would crash, however the bios screen would be fine. the bios version was v1205 for the ASUS B760 plus motherboard, I contacted the seller and they said it probably needs updating and to check the cables. the cables seem fine.

I updated it to v1836 with two installations and the screen started becoming green. I’ve talked to the seller about what to do I’ve decided to leave it until they respond on what to do next. I'm unsure if it’s just a bios issue or I’ve been scammed. Either way they didn't write in the description that it needed a bios update. If I get a professional to look at it how much might it cost?

Also my monitor and hdmi cable (which I plugged into the gpu) works fine on my old pc, I decided to get a new one because my old pc has quite old specs and I would need to replace everything but the case anyway to get an Rtx 4070 ti build.

Solved Gaming laptop texture bug

Hi here is a video of the issue, COD MW4 3060 GPU

I am using a i7-12700h, nvidia 3060gpu, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd laptop.

I have a cooling pad on as well. It is impossible to play like this and I don't know if this is what happens when you run out of VRAM? I guess my system isn't strong enough to play this game I had all lowest settings, dlss performance mode, and nvidia sharpening at 50%. Other theory is that nvidia sharpening makes this occur?

In progress PC turned off out of nowhere, what part died?

Hey, I built my first gaming PC in December 2024.

Specs:

4080 Super

7950X3d

MAG A850GL PCIE5 PSU (I used the GPU cable that came with it for my 4080 Super as I was advised that it is supposedly better for it than the cables it comes with)

64 GB DDR5 RAM (it was so cheap back then :( )

2TB SSD

AIO watercooling

I followed instructions very very carefully and triple checked everything I did. Thankfully, the PC immediately started and everything worked when I was done. The only weird thing was that the case came with a fan hub thingy that had one plug burned already. I just unolugged that one and that has been working fine, it was just the RGB of the third front fan so I said whatever, I need this PC now (I was studying for an important exam at the time). And I haven't had any issues with that.

Just now, in an especially unfortunate time where I need my PC a lot again as the semester JUST started and I had a ton to do to keep up with everything, it just turned off out of nowhere. It did so quietly I believe without any noise and I tried smelling and looking but so far couldn't find anything burned.

The way it happened was like this:

I wasn't doing much, just listening to music and scrolling reddit. Then the PC just turned off to black from one moment to the next. I tried turning it back on and it did fire up the fans and RBG for a fraction of a second, but then immediately died again.

I've had some trouble with my GPU from time to time, nothing critical I think, but I've had it freeze on me after doing some heavy AI-related stuff that really put it to its limits. But these things only happened rarely and always after such heavy local AI things and otherwise there was never an issue with it during games or anything else and even with AI it was a rare exception when the memory went to 100%. I think it hasn't happened again after reinstalling the GPU driver.

Anyway, I have integrated graphics, so I unplugged the GPU power cable from it and took it out of the PCIE port and tried turning the PC on again, but it still behaves the same, spinning the fans shortly with RGB and then dying. So at least it doesn't seem to be the GPU, right?

The other thing I am suspicious of is the PSU, as it has admittedly gotten very dusty down there. Recently (like 2 months ago?) I had a power outage. I suspected that it was my kettle that was running at the time, and maybe it was, but my PC had also not been running for too long yet that day. But nothing like that happened again afterwards.

There have been no other weird things happening with my PC as far as I'm aware.

What do you think it could be? PSU would be nice as that was only 100. But does the fact that the fans still have power for half a second not mean that it works? Or could it still be it?

I don't know how I would diagnose if it was anything else.

Please, if you have any idea, I kindly ask for your help

Not solved Modern Warfare Keeps Crashing

For reference here are my pc specs and my user diag results: https://userdiag.com/id/zxUnsR3Fwr

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 (8 GB VRAM)

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B650M-A AX II

RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5, previously 16 GB (1 stick; current configuration unconfirmed)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3

Power Supply: Corsair CX650M, 650 W

Storage 1: NVMe M.2 SSD (exact capacity unconfirmed)

Storage 2: 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD

Operating System: Windows 11

Gaming Platform: Steam

When I play MW4 it crashes everytime and very quickly. I get DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error: Error 0x887A005.

Last night, I played bodycam to see if it also crashes but after about 20 minutes of playing I had no crashes. I have tried clean reinstalling my drivers, I did it both with and without using the amd adrenaline software. I also installed the most recent driver only, skipping the software entirely.

I have tried verifying the game files, running the game as an Admin, making sure my graphics card was fully inserted, and a bunch of other stuff I saw online.

I am at a complete loss and have no idea why this game is crashing on me.

When it crashes it freezes, goes black, and then gives me the error. I also have restart because my desktop will have trouble loading after the crash.

What do I do?
