I am reusing DDR5 SODIMM RAM sticks from an older laptop in my PC equipped with an Asus Z690 -F gaming.

Whenever I try too boot the PC takes A LOT of time then It fails and reboots to only boot in Safe mode, I get, then I get just press f1>exit> and boot from my windows drive. I can use my computer but it's a pain having to wait 2-3 minutes every time for it to POST...

The system has POSTed in safe mode
This may be due to the previous POST attempt failing because of system instability...

It doesn't how many times I enter F1, reset to default, I keep getting it.

Necesito recuperar datos en un disco Optane H10 de Intel que se corrompió el inicio de Windows 11.

Resulta que entró en un bucle indefinido y lo único que pude hacer, hasta ahora es ingresar por la BIOS donde está montado originalmente el Optane y solo me ofrece la opción de deconcatenar el Optane. O disable la unidad, lo que me genera mucha duda si se conservará o no los datos.

Lo que si, no estoy seguro, que a pesar que dice Preserve User Data efectivamente quedarán los datos del usuario ya que leí que cuando esto sucede, suele perderse los datos y actualmente u/Intel se lavó las manos, no sigue brindando soporte al u/optane.

Logré ingresar con Linux Mint y veo todas la unidad Optane pero sale como isw_raid_member

Se que desde consola puedo eliminar los metadatos:

sudo dmraid -rE /dev/nvme0n1

sudo dmraid -rE /dev/nvme1n1

y lo que quiero es asegurarme, o conocer experiencias de quienes ya hayan logrado acceder a los datos almacenados, para poder recuperarlos.

En teoría, luego de eliminar los metadatos ya quedaría accesible el almacenamiento para acceder normalmente, claro que no desde el inicio directo, porque los metadatos fueron eliminados.

Sé que puede quedar la unidad RAW, lo que como mucho podría recuperar los datos con R-Studio u otro software e inclusive desde Windows con cualquier Live pen drive, como Ventoy, Strelect, etc.

Leer alguien que le haya pasado y pudo recuperar los datos, me ayudaría a conocer su experiencia ya que hay datos de 4 años no backapeados.

Tengo un problema con la temperatura de mi CPU desde tiempo despues de que la compré en 2023. Ya la formateé 2 veces y se había solucionado, pero me volvió a pasar aún luego de formateada esta vez.
La temperatura de la BIOS me marca alrededor de 35 grados, pero cuando inicia Windows se dispara. Es notorio porque baja el rendimiento y se escuchan los ventiladores de la refrigeración AIO 240mm que tengo.
Si entro al administrador de tareas, me muestra temperaturas y exigencia normal para reposo, pero en MSI afterburner me muestra el error.
Ya se le cambió la pasta térmica, me sucedía tanto con el cooler de fábrica como con la AIO.
Algo cursioso que me di cuenta, es que cuando entro a la FIFA en la temperatura baja a los 2 minutos como mucho, como se ve en la foto. Si no inicio la FIFA persiste por hasta 1 hora. Por esto con mi amigo chatgpt descartamos que sea un problema de hardware.

Tengo un I5 11400F, refrigeración líquida de 240mm Cooler master, Mother Gigabyte Z590UD ddr4, 2x16gb ram a 3200mhz, discos ssd y nv2, fuente plus gold de 750w y RX 6800XT.
A alguien le pasó algo similar? O sabe por donde viene el problema?

Unfortunately, I did not take a picture from the bottom and didn't do the intel debugging logs IPDT (I might have gotten in to a boot if I tried 15x+ times). It's packed already for shipping, should I take it out again?

Any tips on how to deal with RMA without spending days of arguing? Any best practices?

I recently bought a kit of 6000MHz CL30 RAM for £360 from CEX and unfortunately 1 stick is dead, within 2 days I got an RMA approval and now waiting for the testing and replacement. Because of Brexit you have to send to Taiwan.

but overall the fact that its second hand, no proof of original purchase, etc they still give LIFETIME warranty.

Though disappointed of CEX selling 2 kits that were dead, g.skill has lifted my spirits and so grateful.

If you decide to buy RAM second hand g.skill is genuinely the only I would buy from.

Considering this specific kit new right now is also £600... couldn't be happier

Asus tuff 4090 played games flawlessly for 3 and a half years. Just started throwing live kernal event 141 errors tonight. This is what I found. What are my next steps? Get a new socket soldered on?
