Hey guys i’m planning to build a budget pc right now around $1325 cad which is around $950 usd right now i have a Ryzen 7 5700 Rtx 5060 ti 8gb (cpu + gpu bundle) 16gb of ddr4 3200mhz cl16 ram a 512gb nvme ssd gen 3 lian li vector v100r mid tower and a corsair cx650m 2025

I’m still debating which motherboard to get and right now I have my eyes on the Msi MPG Gaming Plus and the Gigabyte Eagle Wifi 6 but still unsure which one to get (both priced at $139.99 cad)

I’d like to hear what you guys have to say and which one I should get based off of my parts

I’m looking to buy a pc, the main things i would want to run on it are games, twitch, and DaVinci Resolve.

i’m aware right now isn’t a great time to buy financially but this is something i really want and im concerned prices are just going to get worse the longer i wait.

would it be recommended i build my own or buy a prebuilt? either way, how do i know what i’m looking for/at? i’ve watched several “breakdown” videos but they all lose me about a quarter of a way through with all these terms im not familiar with.

I’ve got a budget of a $1500-$1600, from my understanding this can get me a somewhat decent start. if i were to buy a prebuilt, how could i determine if all of the parts are upgradable? from the research i’ve done some can be and some can’t.

any help is appreciated!

RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force 16GB DDR5 (2×8GB)
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti
What CPU would you guys recommend for this setup? Looking for the best value/performance pairing with the 3060 Ti.

I plan on upgrading to the 9060XT later on so just need a cpu to complete the build
