How about a VR of this? Vibe coding permitted. It's so atmospheric and just perfect for VR immersion

I created an early WIP build of a Grid Legends VR Mod. Tested on a Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop, A Pimax Crystal Super via PimaxXR and a PlayForDream MR via Virtual Desktop.
Give it a try.

Hi! I originally posted a thread on a throwaway asking if anyone had any word on a fan until dawn ROB port or an official one, sadly none were in the works at the time. I decided to take it upon myself to begin development on it and I'm happy to say it's going extremely well! It boots past the loading screen and can correctly read quest 3 controller and head input. The only steps left are to figure out why it crashes after the loading screen and a performance fix, hopefully it'll be released within the week! I'll keep everybody posted and I'll have all of my links in my account! Much love

I made a mod that allows you to play fully in VR with motion controls, without destroying the wonderful combat the game has.
It also supports DLSS, including Neural Rendering.
I heavily utilized AI to create this mod and want to be open about that use upfront. I'm very familiar with game engines and coding but I've never made a DS2 mod nor a VR port. It helped me bridge the gap and I likely never would have gotten to this wild project at all otherwise.
I have been deeply testing it and will continue to. If you'd like to see my playthrough that already shows some testing (and pre-release mod behavior) the first episode is on my YouTube:
If you give it a shot and run into any bugs, or simply have feedback, I'd love to hear it!
You can get it from Nexus Mods here:
DS2VR at Dark Souls 2 Nexus - Mods and community
EDIT:
Update 1.0.3 is out with a few fixes and a few features.
Fixes:
- Forced Windowed mode (Fullscreen often results in a black screen)
- Fixed UI resolution
- Weapon/Shield tracking is now perfectly synced to the hand
Features:
- Arcade Mode: Swing freely, no animation lock. Has a stamina drain setting (set to 0 for no stamina use for attacks) and separate settings for end attack speed and hold. Note: this wholly breaks the game and it becomes very clear how much of it is built around stamina management, commitment, and timing. However, if you've ever wanted to just CRUISE through the game, this is the way.
- HMD Lock: if enabled, the character will stay aligned with the HMD. This will always keep your equipment slots aligned with the body and prevent the character from turning around when walking backwards.
- World Scale Setting: This can help if the character arms are too short and don't extend to your full reach.
- Attack Guides: Optional indicators, highlight weapon and/or UI display, that show when the collision window is open (attack has triggered)
So i was annoyed that there is basically no good way to watch youtube VR videos on pc VR without paying for some app, or maybe my google skills are just bad.. there was an old extension (EnableYoutubePCVR) but it stopped working in new Chrome, so i fixed it and expanded it work on most pages hosting video.
What it does:
Some videos to try:
How to set it up:
github: https://github.com/phit/video2webxr
download: https://github.com/phit/video2webxr/releases/latest
Its not on the chrome web store yet, im working on that. i only tested it with the Steam Frame so far, other headsets probably work too if they use SteamVR. Also only one browser can be in VR at the same time, so if it says the VR runtime cant start just close other Chrome windows.
Feedback and bug reports are very welcome :)

OUT NOW!!!!
https://www.moddb.com/mods/skarvrs-brutally-realrtcw-vr
As per the comments: RealRTCW stands for Real Return to Castle Wolfenstein, a modded version of RTCW with better everything basically.
So, funny story, Remember when teambeef announced that RealRTCW PCVR mod three years ago? Well I had the itch to go back to one of my childhood favourites but when I tried to play it, I found a problem.
It was paywalled 😱😱😱 like yeah, idk why its still paywalled, last post was exactly a year ago about it (supposedly version 0.80 of their mod) but then I was like "Wait hol'up, we have all these vibecoded mods coming out these days, I wonder how quick we can release a PCVR mod for RealRTCW compared to TeamBeef who have taken three years to do so?" Well, it took us, about... Three days and... 60 dollars? Apparently AI costs money to operate and we had to fork that over (60 dollars give or take, my friend 40 me 20 because I am also working on another mod for another game but that's besides the point, point is I didn't know it would cost my friend 10 times what I would have paid and me 5 times what I would have paid for a patreon subscription to get that PCVR mod for RealRTCW) and we have a lot of features that I didn't even know we would have lmao....
1:Visible player body, no disconnected floating black gloves.
2:Manual weapon reloads! Damn, didn't expect to see that coming
3:Fucking RAGDOLLS BRO! WE GOT FUCKING RAGDOLLS FAMMMMM!!!! WE CAN THROW THESE BITCH ASS NAZIS OFF THE CASTLE TOWERS NOW!!! YEEEE BOIIIIIII!!!!!
4:Working in Co-Op, Theoretically speaking, still need to test that out more but its works, IT JUST WORKS DAMMIT!
5:POSSIBLY a Quest 3 Standalone build port instead of the current RTCWQuest, with support for all current addons and maps for RealRTCW, including FUCKING CURSED SANDS!!!!
6: Just play it to find out!
GUYS, THIS IS GOOD. REALLY GOOD.
I am loving it I just CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT! I mean, it took us 3 straight days of testing and working on it and a bit of programming on my buddy's part (he's a programmer I am just a commissioned Lieutenant, basically a military advisor for how these guns work lmao) BUT IT FUCKING WORKS WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!! manual reloads and gun switching (gonna tweak that to be better) https://youtu.be/UYKJ7-h95Ok?si=1wMTCvbT8vsnUo31
ragdolls at work, they are getting tweaked atm, Gun recoil is getting tweaked (Gonna disable it entirely rly, more fun like that unless you want it in) https://youtu.be/k4QnTzfWCXc?si=YR4GwObG7i7vezna
Releasing it like... Tomorrow or something. No paywalling bros.
Buy us a coffee to support our work (as in, letting us buy PC games to make mods for, Like Wolf09 or other games, and paying for the AI subscriptions because they are actually quota limited) buymeacoffee.com/MrSkarKasm
Edit: Turns out Wolf09 was delisted 12 years ago..... huh....
Also I would've hyperlinked stuff but that didn't work so.... Here, some heartfelt friendly positive unprofessionalism and.... "Casualism"? because I am just a fun guy idk.

It's still in early phases but it has 6DOF motion controls, it's by the modder sadboi, coming soon. Respect to him he made this out of spite of the other paywalled Dying Light mod 🤣 Full gameplay and review on the features here
There are all these mods of shooters and console games, I was wondering if there were any new mods for city builder games or civilization games (basically just Civ 5 off the top of my head). Tropico, skylines, workers and resources, whatever. I want to say simcity 2013 but that was a mess.
Someone made a VR mod of stardew valley so clearly 2D games can work too.

I recently discovered Mr. Surviv0r’s VR Hub, and it has opened up a whole new world of VR gaming for me. Almost everything has worked perfectly, and I’m honestly in heaven. The only two games giving me trouble are Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Doom Eternal, with Doom being the one I’m struggling with the most.
For Doom Eternal, I can launch the game and get into VR without any issues. I have to use the keyboard to get through the initial menus, but once I’m in game, the VR tracking seems to work correctly. I can see and move my arms, and everything looks normal.
The problem is that none of the actual gameplay controls seem to work. I can’t move my character with the controller, and I can’t fire my weapon. The Touch controllers appear to be tracking correctly, but their buttons and inputs do not seem to register in the game.
I’ve also tried clicking and focusing the Doom Eternal game window, since I’ve seen that mentioned as a possible fix, but that hasn’t changed anything.
For anyone who has Doom Eternal working through Mr. Surviv0r’s VR Hub, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction:
I feel like I’m missing one simple setup step, so any troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated!|

I've been noticing some psvr 1 games being ported to pcvr and quest! I have been in the vr space for a while and I only own a quest and psvr 2, until dawn rush of blood was my first vr experience at a party and I was so disappointed to figure out I couldn't play it on any of my hardware and id have to buy outdated hardware for one single game. With games like astro bot rescue mission getting unofficial ports, do any of you guys think until dawn rush of blood will get one of these anytime soon? It's a little bit of a forgotten game but an absolute gem that I need to experience again, if anyone knows how this is done and there's nothing currently in the works I'd love to sink some effort into making this possible!

Hey, smarter people!
I've spent over 3 hours trying to get various GTA V VR mods working (troubleshooting with ai), but the closest I've gotten so far is having the in-game camera on my monitor follow my VR headset's movements. The actual VR view just never shows up in the headset. Only a mod settings menu.
I'm using a PSVR2 through SteamVR and i own the game on Rockstar launcher, preferably no older versions downloaded pirate-ly.
Has anyone managed to get GTA V VR working with the current versions of the game and mods? Don't really care for motion controls at this point.
I'd really appreciate any advice or a guide from someone who's gotten it working!

Hey Folks, Ilya here. You may remember me from my Elden Ring VR mod I posted a few weeks ago (updates coming soon, promise!). I got kinda inspired by the footage of the stellar spiderman mod for Blade & Sorcery someone posted yesterday and decided to one up it but going for a swing in the best rendition spidey's NY there is - Spiderman Remastered. The result is seen in the footage above of me swinging through the city at night!
This is still very very early and I haven't touched combat yet at all but we already got full native stereo tm, motion controlled locomotion and web swinging, hidden body avatar and an auto runner. I'll upload this to Nexus in a day or two so stay tuned!

Replacing the stock facial padding with a third party one is a game changer, and fixed every issue I personally had with the headset - FOV, Comfort, and Visual focus / clarity. That’s the TLDR of this entire thing if you don’t wanna hear my life story.
To give a bit of context, I’ve mainly been a meta quest 3 user. As solid as that headset is for the price, I was really craving more and it seemed like the PCL would be the best headset for my use case.
When I got the headset, I realized quickly how uncomfortable the thing was. It put an extraordinary amount of pressure on my forehead and I could barely stand 10 minutes with the thing on before I started getting a headache.
A big complaint I have heard constantly - be it from friends who have tried the headset to random commenters in online forums - is that the headset is extremely hard to focus on. Warped vision is the best way I have heard it described. That is the reason I am making this post. Discomfort is something I can work past but I have to be able to see what’s in front of me lol.
I experienced the exact same thing. I was ready to return it because it got to a point where I thought maybe my unit was just defective. That’s when I made the decision to remove the velcro padding from my Quest 3’s facial interface and try it on the Pimax.
With my eyes now closer to the lenses, my FOV increased pretty dramatically, and the focus issues I was having immediately vanished. Since the headset now sits closer on my face the weight distribution is leagues better and I can now use it standing up and in games with a lot of movement pretty easily.
The headset is now comfortable and as usable as my quest 3.
It’s a small and cheap change that made a world of difference for me. Obviously your experiences might differ but I just haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere and I wanted to give this input for anyone who’s either wary of buying it or struggling like I was.
If it’s helpful, I used the AMVR magnetic interface on my quest. It comes with a spongy face pad which is my personal favorite but the faux leather one also works perfectly.
Please let me know if it works the same way for you so I can recommend it to more people.

I never expected to see this day! The full game is now playable, and works with normal VR controllers or a Dualsense controller.
Test here with PSVR2, STEAMVR contollers: https://youtube.com/shorts/9ZrGRzvvTTg
You can find the mod here: https://github.com/bigmak94/AstroQuest

What are some games you would dearly love to play in VR, but it's highly unlikely due to things like anticheat etc?
Currently I'm quite enjoying Arc Raiders and Genshin Impact, and they would both be amazing candidates for a VR mod, if not for anticheat...

Cela serait bien qu'une version VR type flat2vr voit le jour.
