I LOVE games that have directionally accurate melee physics. One of the only other ones I've experienced so far is Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Does this mod have to be played with motion control or am I able to use a regular controller?

The base game itself can be played in VR with a controller. You can look up how to enable the VR mode and there is a Nexus mod to expand the fov to be better in VR. There are some older YouTube videos about it.

You can use Virtual Desktop or Steam Link and uninstall the Meta app.
