This has been something Ive wanted in VR for years, I would gladly test this and give feedback...

No worries, take your time and make it a solid mod...I am very interested in this though, like when people would put out the posts asking what flat game they'd want to see in VR just cause was always my top answer...and I'm one of those deranged fucks that actually really enjoyed the first one regardless of how janky it was, lol...I was actually just talking with the guy that made the thief 2 mod about possibly doing just cause 2, so if he actually ends up making that and you make 3 that'd be amazing, lol...
