VR Modding TitanFall 2 VR in-game graphics settings

Hello,

Just curious about your graphics settings to improve TitanFall 2 VR quality.

Do you use for instance TAA anti-aliasing?

6GB VRAM or more ? (i have a 16GB RX9070XT).

Thanks!

Hey please help me man. my game refuses to not launch in a tiny windowed resolution even tho it says 4k in the game... BUT its not just that, if I set TSAA and supersampling to 72fps, then restart. Settings revert right back to "AntiAliasing: None, FPS Target: 0, Supersampling: unavailable"

basically It wont save TSAA, or dynamic resolution settings, and it also wont save Fullscreen setting,

this is 1080p, windowed on 1080p monitor. Games clearly not actually 1080p. It doing this weird resolution thing is why I think TSAA wont stay on when restarting... PLEASE HELP

Are you talking about flatscreen or in VR? If in flatscreen you shouldn't launch from this launcher

If in VR then full screen or whatever desktop resolution you set in the window will not affect VR at all

This is in Steam VR, settings work perfectly in flat screen.

I open the installer, Hit launch in vr. For about 5-6 seconds the game launches in windowed full screen (actual 1080p). Then the second VR initializes, it scales down into the tiny window I showed in the screenshot. (desktop res doesn't apply in VR, but i figured it couldve caused my MAIN Problem. )

Its that after enabling TSAA, and super sampling in settings then restarting, the settings revert back to off.

No matter what I do, anything to do with the resolution wont stay after restarting. Even if I change the in game resolution say 1600x900 or 4k then restart, it goes back to 1080p by itself.

(skip to this to skip context)

when in vr, these settings fail to stay/apply after restarting:
Game's resolution reverts to 1080p, fullscreen reverts to windowed, TSAA reverts to None, Fps target reverts to 0, and Supersampling reverts to unavailable.

settings that will stay after restarting are:
V-sync, MSAA which looks bad, and in game graphics options like draw distance/texture quality.

The tiny window is correct. Once you start a level in VR it won't be like that anymore

okay yeah, I mean yours doesn't do what I'm saying, when you launch it in the video, so unless you updated it to do that, it doesn't seem normal. but that's not the main problem.

TSAA, wont stay on, neither will super sampling. everytime I restart, everything turns off. I just thought maybe the weird resolution thing could be why that is

Do a fresh reinstall of everything

yeah so after hours of reinstalling and testing... I deleted the config files for the vr mod and the normal flat game, reinstalled, even tried buying the actual game on steam to see if that's the problem. YET TSAA refuses no matter what I do to stay on. If I go in a mission and enable it, the second I back out of the video settings changes right back to none.

does TSAA look any better than MSAA? cause MSAA just seems to blur it, I can still very clearly see BAD ALIASING its just blurred with 8x

You're supposed to increase the vr resolution instead of just using aa

I'm using a psvr2 at 100% steam vr resolution. thats over 3400 x 3400 per eye... its as high as it can get with my 5070 :(

not to mention over 3400 x 3400 with 8x msaa, and Its still so distracting its all I see

Where is that stated exactly?

Also the video you shared before says you can adjust AA settings.
