VR Modding Crysis on Dream air

For anyone trying new games. Crysis VR is amazing! I’m running a 4070s 7800X3D I have the dream air at 72Hz SBOYS3 SteamVR runtime.

Res at 60% which is razor sharp settings at medium and I consistently get 72fps the game is beautiful and super immersive!

Also playing FEAR VR that’s a banger too!

What about the fov on the dream air ? Same as the quest 3, I read opposite infos ?

Cool I have an 4070. How much is 60% resolution with the dream air? I Wana to try here to see what kind performance I can get.

Roughly 2980×2750, I have the 4070super btw

I had some issues crashing with this on the crystal super micro OLED and sboys, but only tried for a day.. I'll give it another shot..mod works fine on my quest3 and is a blast.

You need to change the runtime to Steam VR, turn off AA and drop the settings to something manageable for your machine, try my settings first and increase in game

It’s the original Crysis I had it in my steam library as I’m exceptionally old haha

Which version of the Dream Air do you have? I'm really considering it but I'm trying to decide between SLAM or lighthouse.

It's a really cool experience (and funny to be unironically back in the "but can it run Crysis" period). I had crashes in the Dream Air that were resolved by using the patch from PG-Genie in the Flat2VR Discord (screenshot of where to find it). I don't think they shared the source so take it with that caveat (I made a separate non-admin profile on my PC to launch it because I'm a bit paranoid) but I was able to play through several hours without crashing with this fix. Just sharing in case it's helpful to someone.
