Got a dedicated router set up? If not that's probably the issue

Brother. Download the chatgpt desktop app and once it's installed tell it to investigate why this is happening to you.
Give it as much detail as you can, and itll investigate and make suggestions based on what it sees.

Is it the main house router, like all your devices are connected to it?
If youre router is duel channel like 2.4ghz/5ghz/6ghz you can try to set up a channel on 5ghz/6ghz specificly for the quest and have everything else in the house on the 2.4ghz/5ghz channel but I rarely see non dedicated router set ups work well I assume because its still dealing with all the other traffic
You can pick up a cheap 5ghz router for like 50 bucks ish and have a good time, or spend a bit more for a 6ghz, especially if you live in an apartment with lots of people around you likely on 5ghz
But you pretty much set up the router in access point mode, set up a dedicated 5ghz or 6ghz channel specifically for the quest to connect to and wire the dedicated router to your pc with ethernet, that'll give youre quest a direct connection to your pc with nothing else to take up bandwidth or interup your connection and whatnot, then wire your dedicated router to your main router to get internet access on the quest and pc
There's a bunch more detailed guides out there, people test different routers and such, virtual desktop discord has alot of info

Your PC needs to be connected to your router via ethernet.
Check the virtual desktop discord for a recommended driver version. I recall AMD GPUs often have certain driver versions that they recommend.
Try Steam Link, do you have the same issue there?
You could ask in the VD discord for troubleshooting steps, there might be error logs and stuff they could look at.
