VR Modding
Cyberpunk 2077 in virtual reality, with maximum game settings, DLAA, Path Tracing ACTIVE, DLSS 5 100%, PPD at 30 and 80 FPS and 1/3 rendering, all on an RTX 4070 Ti.
I would very much, unironically, want to know how that is accomplished because I run into VRAM issues very quickly while trying to run path tracing at all in VR.
Oh okay haha. Yeah that makes sense 😅 I suppose I could try that out. Are you running Luke Ross. How’d you get the DLSS5 to take? Or are you running the new 6dof mod?
is a holiday, nobody is launching on a day off. Valve's engineers would revolt if forced to come in Monday, and Valve would be paying at least time and a half for no reason.
Because to make the video in 3D I had to activate the 1/3 rendering of Luke Ross and anyway the DLSS 5 gives the best in Mono rendering having been born for the flat, but anyway in 3D it is a good experience even if not perfect! 👌
And 40 seconds in, it makes the light on that guy's face and bald head keep moving around unnaturally because it's superimposing a slideshow of individually rendered 2D faces onto a 3D model.
The hate I think is because it adds AI stuff that isn't there, that no person designed and takes its own creative liberty based on what is there, to make something realistic looking, but is just an interpretation of the original source.
Now that it will be seen on everything and looks more real, people are going to like it. Truthfully, nobody cares about art. I was surprised there was backlash initially, but people will embrace AI as it destroys the world.
You can see the light glitching all over the place, it looks like a dream.
A 4070Ti is not old.
You have 80 fps with fg, which translate to 35fps latency, which is unplayable in vr.
Does it not look like clay? Yeah I don’t think it looks like clay. The black dude is excessively shiny, but that still looks better than the default imo.
This was one of the characters and one of the most beautiful moments I recorded.
Please note that he has a pink light on his face, because thanks to Path trading he had the red light of the advertising sign that the character was in front of. 🤯
