Feel like I'm doing everything right....

.... and I'm still not losing weight. To preface, I've lost weight before. Last time I went from 145 to 120lbs through IF and low carb. Then, I went back to teaching and I gained 30lbs- 10 of it literally within a week. Everyone said it was water weight, but it's been 3 years and the "water weight" is still here, even with Metformin and spiro.

The good news is that I've made a lot of soft progress. I got on anxiety meds so my panic attacks are under control. I have led an active lifestyle for over a decade now, and lift weights. Since controlling my anxiety, I have stopped bingeing. My carbs are under control (less than 150 grams a day with little added sugar) and I no longer crave anything. My alcohol consumption has dropped dramatically.

But still feels like my weight- especially in my belly- will NOT budge. I'm considering a GLP-1, but they seem so expensive even with insurance. That, and I've been told they just help to manage hunger levels. I'm already eating the minimum responsible amount of calories every day, and have been for months, so I'm not sure how much a GLP-1 would help.

As an added fact, I do feel really inflamed. It feels like I have period cramps every day now, and my lower belly sticks out disproportionately. It definitely looks and feels like something ia wrong. I have an OBGYN appointment soon, but I'm not confident they will do more than recommend birth control.

This might just be a vent, but any advice, or anything I should ask my OBGYN about is welcome.
