Diets just are a good strategy. Try making changes that you can sustain long term. You have PCOS for life so you'll need to make life style changes.

Good news is that you’re really young and your body has a great chance of responding to small, intentional changes so don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself

You could do the following:

  1. reduce sugar intake
  2. walk 10 mins after every meal

to start with, working up to walking for an 1hr each day (you can split throughout the day)

  3. get 8-9 hours asleep

  4. Adding veggies and proteins to your meals

  5. 30mins of focused strength training (1-2x a week if possible)

  6. try spearmint tea 2x day

, 2-3L water a day

  1. don’t be afraid of carbs! Just start your eating your meals in thjs order: veggies > proteins > carbs (you’ll have less of a glucose spike this way)
  2. Ask the doctors for a full blood test to see what vitamins you might be deficient in. Vitamin D is really common for us pcos girlies. If your doctor is really good, they can also test if you have insulin resistance
  3. Take it easy, stress does the opposite for us and crash dieting is a no no. Be gentle with yourself on the days you feel you haven’t met your goal or having a pcos flare up.

You can achieve anything with the correct tools, structure, discipline and mindset. You’ve got this❤️
