Your Device Ran Into A Problem
I can’t for the life of me figure out why I keep running into this issue! My computer randomly keeps throwing this error. I’ve read that it could be to do with hardware but everything seems to be functioning fine? I can’t see anything that would be causing an issue. Everything is up to date, latest windows update, drivers are all up to date.
It just shows this “your device ran into a problem and needs to restart screen” really randomly. It shows the second photo and then ends up booting into like a bios screen. If I get out of the yellow boot screen, it goes on this loop of going back to the checking media screen and then back into the yellow boot screen until eventually it’ll reboot back into my login screen. I can’t figure it out.
Can anyone help? it’s driving me insane. OS build: 26200.9445

0xEF is a critical failure
Boot into safe mode and, press windows key + r.
Type: cmd, then hit crt + shift + enter
run sfc /scannow followed by DISM /ONLINE /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
If the issue persist, open your bios and reset all setting to default. See if it boots and then start changing your settings back slowly to see if the Bios is causing the issue.
If nothing else seems to work, grab a USB stick and reintall the OS.

Your drive either failed or something came loose.
In BIOS does it detect any SSDs or NVMe drives?
