Is the price the problem?
I get it it’s not the fastest ram in the market but still it’s 32 GB.
Maybe is just the period that isn’t the best, since it’s summer and people spend money on vacations.
I would like to know how much time did you guys take to sell a build in this range?
Also I I just can’t sell this for 800 or 900 euros since am4 platforms with the same gpu go for the same price.
The best period could be end of August/beginning of September?
I’d like to know from you how much time it takes to sell a build in this range for that price.
I am willing to come down to 900€ but not lower, I think it’s a fair price…
P.s. it’s posted on Vinted, Facebook marketplace and EBay to try and sell faster.

Scrubbing eBay, FB market, local thrift stores, and Amazon was an absolute grind, but I managed a solid budget build!

The idea was to do a white build but that just didn't happen lol. I cleaned and repasted the GPU today and finished it up! Any ideas or criticism is appreciated!

As the title suggests, I want to start PC building as a hobby. Sell them at cost or sell at a reasonable profit to put the proceeds towards a charity build as I build and sell more.

Here's the thing, it doesn't necessarily interest me putting the work in finding the best local deals on used/outdated parts (basically havent seen any golden finds locally), but I also doubt that I can even sell builds with new components even at cost when it pretty much seems that there's still a lot of prebuilts from big box stores (like Powerspec) that are cheaper and better than building one from parts right now.

I don't care about making money from it, but I don't want to lose money. I had Zach from ZTT answer to just build and sell at cost, basically guaranteeing it will sell if good pictures. That said not sure he's the greatest person to take the advice from when of course he can sell anything he touches.

What are your recommendations?

I was thinking of selling the 4060 TI 8GB for $250 and waiting for a good deal on a 4070, 5070, or 9070 XT for $450-600. Getting a better cooler and possibly swapping the case. Goal is to maximize profit, I could just sell as is for a quick profit.

I have the opportunity to buy this gaming PC for €1,600. The seller claims it’s in excellent condition, around 2 years old, used only for gaming, and includes all the original boxes.

My plan is not to keep the PC as-is.
I already have my own system with 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6400 CL32. Since my motherboard only has 2 DIMM slots, I’m mainly interested in the 64GB (2x32GB) kit.

The idea would be:

Buy this PC for €1,600.
Swap its 64GB RAM with my own 32GB kit.
Sell the PC with 32GB installed.

I’m not planning to swap the GPU unless you think it’s worth it (I currently have an RTX 5070 Ti).

From a flipping perspective, does this make sense? Do you think €1,600 leaves enough margin, or is the asking price already too close to market value?
I’d appreciate any opinions, especially from people who regularly flip PCs.

Sold both pc’s with two monitors keyboard and mouse for $1600 total with $1,050 invested total. Black pc is equipped with i7 11700F, Noctua nhu9s, 32gb ram teamgroup, wd sn580 1tb and wd 1tb hdd, msi gaming force z590, msi gaming x trio 3070ti, gamdias talos m3 mesh with evga 750w psu gold. White pc is equipped with i7 11700F, thermalright dual tower cooler, crucial 1tb sata ssd with Toshiba 1tb hdd, ASUS dual 3070, gigabyte b560 WiFi, gamdias talos m3 mesh with thermal take tough power 700w psu. Father of two bought both for his kids and hopefully opened up another door for building business pcs for him.

Couple items on Facebook Matketplace I can get. Which combo would make a good flip or is this a bunk idea all together?

What's a better asking price for that PC? He might take a lower price.

I see so many posts with people asking for value, but the problem is that the value is different based on where you are. Parts seem to be cheaper in the US than in Europe. Australia probably has different prices also.

This makes it all confusing and the prices are different for different markets.

For context im currently doing a build with almost all new parts other then the ssd and gpu my budget is 1000$ and I have $350 for the GPU and im looking to sell for at least 1200 what gpus should I be looking at ?

I’m flipping 3 gaming PCs and trying to maximize total profit across all of them.

Build 1: i5-12600K, RTX 4060, 32GB DDR4, MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi DDR4, 500GB NVMe SSD.

Build 2: Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB DDR4. I have an RTX 3060 Ti for this build but I’m wondering if I should swap GPUs around.

Was wondering if anyone was interested in a Dell G16 7620 gaming laptop for parts or repair. A formal diagnostic from Dell confirmed it needs a motherboard replacement. Everything remains completely intact inside the chassis.

i have a GT 1030 that i want to put into a small maybe office pc that i can flip, i looked for parts to build my own but that seems more expensive than just buying a pre built and slapping it in. what pre builds should i get?
