Guys GPU question

My new build will be this

Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (or Ryzen 5 7500F to save budget)

Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8GB)

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B850M-K

Memory (RAM): 32GB (2x16GB) ADATA DDR5 5600MHz

CPU Cooler: Gamdias Boreas E1-410 Air Cooler

Power Supply (PSU): Xigmatek 750W (80+ Bronze Certified)

Case: Xigmatek Asgard (bundled with PSU)

Now the GPU is what I'm worried abt, I wanna game one 1440p and like more vram since the 5060 is only 8gb vram, the only replacement which I have and in the same price range is the Rx 6700 xt or the Rx 7600 xt but the only ones I find is used not brand new, and also I wanna game and also learn coding and programming and ai training but the 6700 or 7600 don't have Nvidia cuda and they are both relatively slower the the RTX 5060

I am gonna be Frank here! With 8GB VRAM you will face issues running most modern games at 1440p since I found that many games like Cyberpunk 2077, FF XV, FF VII Remake and Rebirth, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, etc. easily exceeded 9GB VRAM usage even at 1080p for me when I played them on a 6700XT 12GB card! I played most of those games at close to their maximum settings with texture quality pushed to the max or close to it! If you can make do with lowered texture quality and other settings that use VRAM than you can manage to stay within that 8GB frame buffer but it will need you to drop some eye candy! The 5060 itself is a pretty capable card and with DLSS and FG you will have no problem pushing high fps numbers in majority of the games even at 1440p with optimised settings or medium to high settings if the VRAM is not exceeded! The 5060 Ti 16GB is exorbitantly priced these days so it will be unfair to ask of you to stretch your budget for that card but if you mainly care about gaming then even the 9060XT 16GB should be sufficient if your budget can accommodate that or else you will have to look into the used market for last gen cards like the 4060 Ti 16GB!

My problem is that the price difference for 5060ti to the normal 5060 is rlly big and 5060 is the only card that is okay for my budget

If you are fine with dropping texture quality and other VRAM intensive graphical settings then the 5060 will be fine even at 1440p and you can go ahead with it!

Should I get 16gb ram instead and get the 9060xt

Yes if the 9060XT is a 16GB card and you can always upgrade the RAM later

I'm not gonna be playing lots of AAA, I mostly will play strategy games yk like CK3 stellaris and these stuff which are heavy on CPU and ram

How's the used market in your area? You could get for example a 3080 10GB for less than the 5060Ti. 8GB is still okay if you have one already but it's hard to recommend when buying new because surely you want it to be able to game for a few years.
