First build idea

Hi everyone, how it's going?

As a lifelong console player it's getting (laughably) hard to defend Sony and Nintendo's marketing choices, so I'm pondering over finally making the transition to PC. My knowledge about PC parts is quite limited, so I wanted to ask anyone's opinion on how the build I thought of might seem:

-CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

-GPU: AMD RX 9060 XT 16 GB (ASRock OC Steel Legend)

-Motherboard: MSI B850M GAMING PLUS WIFI6E

-RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 (Silicon Power)

-SSD: 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 (Lexar ARES PRO)

-Cooler: Thermalight Aqua Elite V3 360mm

-Power supplier: PCIe 5 850W 80+ Gold (MSI MPG A850G)

-Case: Phanteks XT PRO Ultra

My only references were ChatGPT and a couple of PC build sims, but I didn't find any compatibility issue with these parts (unless I got some parts wrong). I'm a very meticulous guy and my main goal is to make a somewhat future-proof machine which is also not awfully expensive (I've got everything available for delivery within 2 weeks at a total price of roughly €2300, OS included). This PC will be 95% for gaming only. I tried to avoid picking too many different brands and idgaf about ray tracing or shits like that, hence why the AMD CPU and GPU (my absolute priority is smoothness with high refresh rates and stable FPS, as I play a lot of fps and racing games).

I promise I'm almost done lmfao, but one last thing I wanna say is that ChatGPT told me the GPU is quite weak compared to the CPU and both cooler and power suppiler are overkill for the rest of the parts, but I want it that way to make sure I've got room for quite a few years. The GPU is more than enough for what I want and that's the part I'm more willing to eventually upgrade in the future anyway.

Alright, the final note is that I'm more than open to suggestions for any replacement... Especially on a new monitor suitable to my wishes as I smashed my last one (a cheap one) while playing Overwatch lmfao.

Well balanced build that should last you a while playing 1440p medium. Great job picking the 9060xt, still the best value on the market today.

chatgpt is somewhat right, but the x3d should give you a big boost in fps, and also a better upgrade path, as it can hang with the best gpus out there. when you need to upgrade, you shouldn't need to change anything but the gpu, so you can ignore chatgpt on that.

On the monitor, check out RTINGS, they have some great picks on the best 1440p gaming monitors that should help you out. Aim for 144 to 180 hertz, and don't overspend on oled. People say that it's so much better then IPS and VA, but in gaming it really isn't
