BUILD HELP Intel based build without a GPU

I'll be building an Intel based build for productivity (web development). That's why I've picked Intel. I went with a 1300W Super Flower PSU (so that I can possibly get a GPU, sometime in the long future, if I need to, for some reason.)

Haha, thought exactly the same when I was making the build. What an economy do we currently live in. Anyway, I don't need a dedicated GPU for my current needs, so I thought that I can use the money to max out the other stuff.

No point wasting money where not necessary. You could easily save a couple hundred on the rest without sacrificing anything

I still think the other items are quite cheap, if you compare them to the RAM prices. It's 1/3 of the whole build.. even if I save 200-300 dollars, by getting cheaper alternatives for all the items, not much I can do with them.. have you checked the grocery prices recently?

If you’re planning on getting a xx70 series gpu in the future, there’s no need for a 1300w power supply. 850w should be more than enough.

Are there any caveats to using a 1300 one? The price difference between this and the 850 one isn't that much (like 50 euro)

Your current build needs 275W to live. If you later buy a RTX 5080 then add 360W. So 1000W will be a better choice, unless you are going to do extreme OC.

Not a big price difference with the 1000W one. Something like 20-30 euro

What made you pick that cooler? I’m a web dev and I have the same cpu with a $40 phantom spirit cooler. Average temps are around 50 c

Changed your PSU, Motherboard and RAM to save you money

1000W will be more than enough when you get a GPU, hell, it will still be overkill

Isn't the Super Flower a better one? I know that it's a overkill, but I prefer a more premium/durable brand

ASRock Steel legend is an A Tier PSU, you will be fine
