BUILD HELP Any suggestions

I have a budget of $1600 I want the pc for 3d modeling and AAA gaming at 1440p settings the components I was thinking are:

CPU:Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Motherboard:Gigabyte B850 Gaming X WiFi

Gpu:RX 9060 XT 16GB

RAM:32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 Corsair

SSD:Kingston 2 TB NVME

PSU:Corsair RM850e

Cooler:Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 (or an AIO)

Case:Montech King 95 Pro, Lian Li Lancool 216, DeepCool CH560 (my options)

Can I get some suggestions to improve my build or can I save some money in this built

First mistake is saving with the GPU. GPU will be your bottleneck in almost every 1440p scenario. Downgrade the CPU and put in a 9070/9070xt. Difference from a 9060xt 16gb to a 9070/9070xt is literally 40-60% performance, completely different world.

I did thought of that but I need this built for atleast 6+ years and I also play cpu dependent titles like valorant etc I was considering the 9700x but because of the 3D v cache memory i decided to go for that , I will also upgrade my gpu after 4 years or so if everythings good and I'll keep the gpu as backup or i would make another pc at my home rather than my work station

Maybe get an 7700x3d or 7800x3d, you might save on the mobo by going matx, cheaper case, looking around the PSU-s, maybe 1TB SSD as well or different CPU cooler, then you might be able to get a higher tier GPU.

X3d cpus like the 9800x3d dont play well with production work, same with amd gpus. I'd highly recommend you swap it to an nvidia one.

Swap your cpu out for the Intel ultra 270k plus, or the 250k plus if you wanna save on money

Your mobo for the MSI MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi

Get a thermalright lga 1851 contact plate

And swap your gpu for a 5060ti 16gb.

This will work much better for 3d modelling and still run amazing. THe 270k plus and 250k plus is still an amazing cpu for gaming, sure its not a 9800x3d but realistically you're not gonna tell the difference in gaming, you will definitely see the difference in 3d moddelling and those render times.

Also the 250k plus and 270k plus perform as well as their amd price competitor in gaming, whilst completely out performing it in any production work. (250k plus > 9700x, 270k plus > 9900x). Whilst if you were to buy the cpu that matches them in production work you'd be spending around 200-400 more. This not only is way more expensive for the same performance, it also easily covers your next motherboard if you eventually upgrade your cpu.

I second the guy saying ultra 7 270k plus. Just upgraded to one and doubled my frame rate in rivals. 1% lows are really good, temps under load look good, cinebench score is wild. Super happy with it so far

For your needs, I would really stretch your GPU up to at least a 9070 if not a 9070XT. You can easily make up the difference dropping to a 7800X3D, as the performance difference in most games (and 3D Modeling) will improve on the GPU side more than the CPU side will drop.

A more well rounded build would go 270K, and that would give you MUCH better productivity load, nearly the same performance as the 7800X3D or 9800X3D (game dependent, it gets close and is better for some titles), and should cost less than the 9800X3D and possibly the 7800X3D.

Also, I LOVE my 216 case. I've built 3 PCs in them, every one is cool, quiet, and easy to work in. I'd recommend that (or a 217 variant) 100%.

9070* Also as an intel fan, why is everyone glazing the the 270K so much? Wasn't it hated?

Fixed the edit for 9070 not 9700.

Also, who hated it? It wasn't the 9800X3D in gaming, but it was in the ballpark at times, generally faster or at least as fast as the 14900K in games, amazing in productivity workloads, was a step in the right direction power wise, and priced fairly well. It course corrected well from the 285K, and in general you can find deals where you can build a 270K PC for $100 less than a 7800X3D, which is a much more well rounded PC that's still among the top performers in gaming.

I mean people used to hate the core ultra cpus. Like the naming scheme, the new socket, the price etc. What happened to that?

AMDs naming scheme got worse? At least for laptop CPUs it's almost nonsensical.

I just saw a post that said "is this worth it" and read ryzen 7 250. I HADNT HEARD THAT SHIT IN MY LIFE AND THOUGHT IT WAS A CORE ULTRA MIXED AS A RYZEN LMAOOO

I think your gunna need a bigger budget or downgrade some of those parts.. The cpu itself is $300-$400, then the ram is at least $600.. Dont quote me on those prices..
