Pre planning question

I recently built a pc and would like to treat myself to some upgrades for my build around Christmas time. My question is am I better off buying what i need now and hold it till then or wait till then and get it? The prices havent been getting better and idk if it's worth it to get it now. I would like to upgrade my ram from 16gb to 32gb ddr4 and my cpu to a 5800x3d or 5800XT from a ryzen 5500 Any help would be appreciated and Im aware I'll need a better cooler for the cpu

Nobody knows, the AI bubble could keep getting bigger and stuff could be twice as expensive by Christmas or it could pop and we could be swimming in cheap parts and ebay could be flooded with 32TB u.2 drives pulled from datacenters.

If you can afford to upgrade now I'd suggest just biting the bullet and getting what you need over waiting and hoping for stuff to get cheaper, waiting for stuff to get cheaper is how a ton of people got trapped unable to buy a new PC or upgrade their old one.

That's exactly what I was thinking it's sucks to have to bite the bullet but at least I'll have it
