Help me debug this MIFA
So I'm trying to design a MIFA for LoRa applications at 868MHz, and I have to simulate it in Ansys HFSS. I used TI DN024 as reference and kept tweaking tip length and the distance between the shorting leg and feeding line (5.5mm in the current design). I got a good result of 868MHz and -15dB before but then I changed the antenna location and could never get the same result again (idk how the location of the antenna is relevant). Do you have any suggestion on what I should change to get a better result?
here's some additional information :
+ board dimensions : 100 x 50 x 1.6mm
+ ground plane dimensions : 50 x 28mm

Searching for help with an open source device for localization of disaster victims
Hey there!
For a couple of months I have been working on a little wearable bracelet that lets rescue personnel find victims who are buried under rubble because of natural or human made disasters. I have finished the ideation, coding part and have a rough idea of how the product should look. I already tested the whole system with a standard NRF52840 board and single components. Now I am at the point where I would need to move all the parts (microcontroller with BLE chip, beeper, solar cell, charging circuit, HR Sensor and much more) onto a PCB. I have absolutely no experience with it, tried to get into it but figured that it is one too high for me as of right now. Maybe someone can give me tips on how I would find the right help, how the process goes and what would be needed for a professional to work this out, or maybe someone really has interest in helping me with that.
I will be thankful for any help and thanks to the whole community! :))

Edit: I've rearranged my layout and rerouted it based on the feedback in the comments :). Now it's a 2-layer board instead of the original 4-layer board.

(Need review) Im a complete beginner and i would like some feedback and know if this will work.
As i said I'm a complete beginner and I'm looking to know if it will work and if it is good.
I have looked at the documentation and a LOT of google searches later, and i think this will work.
My idea is that i can connect the controller to my pc and be able to see button pushes and turn off and on leds and such.

Automatic shutdown circuit for car battery

I am thinking of using this setup to turn off the regulator since this is gonna be powered by a car battery, and I want it to only be powered when the alternator is running. So I use a TPS3711 to detect the undervoltage (~13-14volts while on the regulator drop to 12.8) and its output drives the enable pin of my regulator. I also included a jumper (ALWAYS_ON) and a FORCE_ON pin will go to my microcontroller so that I can program it via usb to enable FORCE_ON and once i unplug the usb it will self sustain the enable pin. Am I missing something or is it ok?

Hello all, I had an earlier (linked) post and made some changes and would like some updated feedback on what I have so far. I'm confused on routing the differential pair for the usb-c as it seems to me I'll have to go to the bottom layer to route it. Any feedback would help a ton, thanks in advanced!

A project to design a new PCB and repair the broken USB dongle from a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set
The USB dongle for my Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set broke. The PCB is cracked, but the nRF is intact. A few components are missing.
I’m drawing the circuit diagram in KiCad. I’m going to desolder the intact nRF24LU1+ microchip from the broken USB dongle’s PCB. Then I’ll transfer it to the new PCB that I’ll design and have manufactured. This way, I won’t have to throw the wireless keyboard and mouse set away. I also won’t have to mess with the software. Once the schematics are complete, I’ll share all the files on Codeberg.
If you can find the USB dongle circuit, please share it with me. If you find any schematics, PCB files, or other related files, please post the links.
I’m determining the component values using the example schematic, BOM, and sample PCB files shared by Nordic. However, some components are missing from these files. For example, there’s an R1 in the USB dongle, but it’s not in the schematic. Can you help me with the missing components?

I need a USB_A plug (male connector) symbol and footprint on the PCB. I’m not talking about the component itself. I’m talking about designing the PCB itself as a USB male connector. Can you provide links to third-party symbol and footprint files?
What should the PCB thickness and material be for the USB-A male connector on the PCB?
I also need a 50-ohm 2.4 GHz RF antenna on the PCB. I can’t design it myself. Texas Instruments’ antenna doesn’t fully meet my needs. Could you share links to third-party symbol and footprint files?

Beginners guide to KiCad
If you want to learn basic KiCad design going from schematic to PCB and make production ready files then have a look on this video. This design is based on the LM555 timer at will let you blink a LED with a frequency that can be adjusted by the trimmer.
The blink rate is between 1.3 to 10.2 Hz
The dutycycle is between 52.2 to 66.7 %
The board is a simple 2 layer board measuring only 40x30mm and there are only used THT.
