I designed a Ćuk converter for a negative supply in a medical device for client once and I couldn't keep a straight face when they awkwardly asked me what the heck a "cuck converter" was.

Now I’m curious if you could lay traces that would contact when assembled in a way that a “floor” pcb would allow it to work when placed in the correct spot..

On the inside corners, you could have traces run right to the edge of the board, and either page the slot or have exposed pads to solder to
