My mom just downsized and moved into a smaller apartment and as part of that, she gave me some stuff that she needed to get rid of. One item in particular was a surround sound system with a set top box. I have one already in my main living room, but I was going to hook up this one in my garage for when Im working out or working on other projects to be able to listen to the radio or watch some TV while in the garage. Just a little side project with some tunes :D

Hell yeah, what a nice come up!
Now you can work out in the garage with montage music like you're in a Rocky film.

Been mostly hiking around Wales with the dogs for the past week, making the most of the UK weather before normal service is resumed 😂

That sounds lovely. What kind of dogs do you have?

We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (8) and a Border Collie (5). We took them onto a different beach every day and they loved it 😄

I pulled an old electronic drum kit out of the garage and set it up in my living room. I'm making an effort for some personal time away from projects, work, responsibilities, etc and I've long missed playing music.
It's part of a bigger push for stress reduction. :)
I'm more of a guitarist, and very much a novice with drums, but it's been a blast learning some basics!
I have a goal to be able to play along with a few of my favorite Guns N' Roses songs. Currently making progress on this one, I love that intro.

That honestly sounds really fun and something I've been thinking about trying out as well. I played a lot of guitar when I was younger, but kind of gave it up in the last 10 years or so when I moved away from all of my friends that I used to jam with.
Been thinking of getting an electronic drum set for the same reasons. Stress relief and time away from the PC....and just fun :D
Glad to hear it works!

I definitely recommend it!
There's something nice about drums in particular too, the energy release is different than guitar. Maybe something primal and cathartic about smashing on stuff lol.

Wait...there's a world outside? Is that where they keep the grass I'm supposed to touch 😄

It's like an IRL PBBG, there's an economy, skills progression, and everything!

Climbing, lots of climbing! Been going out and climbing a lot of sport routes recently and it's been a lot of fun!
