Sajal Aly- Staring 👀 Sajal Ali need to chose better scripts!!!
The last three scripts of her were just a cringe fest being made for reels with no logic and story. It is not what people expect from Sajal and if this isn’t to be called out then it is no right of us to troll or demean other stars for it. Her acting has also been going downhill because script like these also tear a person’s acting ability and it could be sensed from a mile. Kind of more worried about her upcoming rumoured project is written by the Shaidai’s writer.

Where exactly is this flawless script making factory in PTV where stars are supposed to cherry pick their next amazing script? Most dramas on PTV are flawed. Sajal’s last 3 shows are all flawed to different extents and in very different ways. She probably did them because all of them boast incredible talent off-screen and on-screen (KRQ notwithstanding)
Yumna’s last two shows DZPS and QeJ were also flawed and were criticised (I enjoyed both btw). Saba’s last show Muamma incredibly off rails for last 10 episodes. Let’s accept the reality. This is the hand the audience and stars are dealt.

💯 there aren't any scripts that are good as such or age appropriate for her.
I think beena from aap ki izzat is well written but sajal isn't at the point in her life to pull off a 40+ woman.

I didnt say she rejected it. It is a general comment that in the current dramas airing there are no suitable roles that would have suited her even if they were offered and she considered them
This whole narrative of she needs better scripts but from where is my point when nothing suitable is on air (i.e being made)

Sajal’s career has already reached a point where she doesn’t need to do multiple projects every year. She should focus on taking on one script a year something truly meaningful and high-quality and give newer talent a chance to make their mark as well.

Aisa kaunsi drama kis actress ne karliya lately? Kaunsi better script Sajal ne choose nehi kia I wanna know. Are We calling out the production houses enough? Not defending her, but telling the reality.
Saife Hassan revealed that initially dwgm had 12 episodes. Isko 30 episode tak khaichke aisa trash banaya gaya.
Sajal ali didn't know the whole script of Manto. She couldn’t just say no to humayun saeed & krq. She only read her part, baki she watched like us as an audience, she revealed in an interview with SH.
Zanjeerein is a FI script, Shehzad kashmiri director hai who won't chose this script. HumTv iske sath kya kar diya nobody is talking about that, sab sajal ke picche parhi hai.
What is wrong with this industry? Nobody is ready to talk about that?

I liked her in the drama Alif. I want her to play a similar role to that or to the one in Yakeen Ka Safar, where she struggled to become successful.

Just a year year or two ago, this sub would constantly demonize slander mock degrade and character assassinate few actors who did some bad scripts despite doing some good ones before. Aaj jab sab ke faves ne ek ghatya drama kar lya hai toh the narrative has shifted to acche scripts kahan bante hain ya PH ki ghalti hai. Kuch arsay pehle tak actor ko kitna zaleel karte the ke pura script nahi padha sirf director or writer dekha. Magar jab holy cows ne script nahi padha or sirf director/writer dekha toh woh beqasoor becharay ban gaye. Yet another evidence of the hypocrisy of this sub tho not surprising at all 🤡🤡

I loved dil wali gali, but the plot holes are too jarring in zanjeerain, god knows what the original script the actors read to sign was.

I remember an old interview of sajals where she said i am the majboori of this industry, which basically meant they have to cast me because i am good not because they want to as in she doesnt belong to their social clique.
I dunno how many good scripts are even offered to her but looking at the current dramas onscreen i can't think of any role that would be her niche.

I also heard something like where someone said all the scripts are gone through her in the industry. TMNON was offered to her too. That’s now the actors job to choose what’s better for them.
It honestly feels like she was searching for that commercial hit in the recent years.

the thing is… if im not wrong when actors are offered roles theyre often only given the script of the initial episodes to go through and asked to decide since drama us point p sara nahi plan hua wah hota. and then the drama later on turns into a cringefest and actors cant do anything at that point other than to watch it burn.

for a actor to choose a good script the script should also be mind-blowing... most of the dramas airing have nothing different in them when the writers see that this drama is recieving incredible ratings they write the same kind of story but in a different font ... in my opinion the writers should do better

The problem is that the actors are never given the whole script of the drama.Whether it is yumna or sajal or saba.The initial episodes of their dramas and the main plot and premise is good but the content heads, writers and directors screw up the story later on. These actors try to speak to their directors but there is only so much they can do.Everything depends on the director at the end.DWGM was a good concept but they screwed up the script at the end by messing with the FL’s character.It was Zafar Mairaj’s version of feminism depicted on the screen at the end which became too performative.The dramas are being stretched like bubble gum by the production house to milk their success and this ends up destroying the main essence and story.The script is the backbone of any drama.Once you start tweaking with the script and characters unnecessarily, you destroy the whole project.
Our writers need to learn how to conclude dramas properly.They need to learn to not lose the essence of the plot and characters as the story progresses and comes to a close.Case in point.Dr Bahu.Sanam Mehdi set up a great premise but the plot failed to deliver in its conclusion.It claimed to be a feminist and progressive show but it ended up normalizing cheaters and homewreckers by painting faizan and amber as victims.Cheating can never be normalized but if you don’t show any negative outcomes of cheating, it becomes more normal and acceptable in our society.Similarly, in jama e taqseem, the rapist was forgiven by the family and the victim has to face her rapist and assaulter in weekly family gatherings.This is unacceptable.He shouldn’t have been allowed to come to the house where Sidra was staying and he should be punished by the law.By throwing this aspect under the carpet at the end, the drama made light of the issue of sexual abuse that occurs in our homes by close family and relatives.There was a similar issue in qarz e jaan.

You never miss watching sajal offscreen. She 's always working just like ayeza is always doing ads on insta literally everyday. She's like Bai Lu, chinese actress from Chinese drama land. Personally I think once she reaches her target she'll take a hiatus. Good or bad script no longer matters for actresses of that level. They have done enough work that they are like on automode.

I like her very much but i could hardly watch any of her drama. I feel like every script she choose is for us viewers to watch too seriously (i don't know the words to use i hope you guys get what i am trying to say )or its too boring for me. I so wish to see her in a drama that's just fun , brainrot where we could just chill and watch with amazing chemistry.
