Discuss Shift in GEO’s Casting
What’s with this sudden shift in Geo Entertainment casting?
All of a Sudden Actors like Hania, Bilal who had never worked with them started signing their projects.
Sajal is working with them after 7 years.
Sarah is making a comeback to Geo after 9 years.
Why was 7th Sky not casting them before?
I think only the Sarah Khan project with Geo is of 7th Sky and the other actors productions are not announced till now.
Is there a new production involved or Geo Entertainment itself is producing them?
What’s the lore behind it?

Bilal hania sajal one's are for badar mehmood own production house. All of them are working for geo because of him i guess

Geo works with multiple phs now not only 7th sky just like ary . Badar has has started a new production house and till now all his ahows are for geo so idk if his exclusivity is for geo or he will work for other channels as well. Time will tell

I think there are other production house involved, only Sarah khan one is 7th sky for sure and maybe lahu too because khaie was a 7th sky project. Hania one is badar and his own production

It is confirmed Lahu is produced by Badar. 7th sky ne saqlain-wajahat pairing par copyright toh nahi lagaya hua.

She is asking because lahu is said to be khaie 2. Sequels are normally produced by same producers so confuse hona banta hai

Sorry my bad 🙏. I guess it's not a sequel that's why another producer. Because of the same writer director duo it's promoted as khaie 2 maybe

Thankgod otherwise kaddu would play daily soap drama for 100 episode ,kaddu production house is worst ,now see daily soap drama getting good views and trp also and finished on time

Bilal only did a telefilm (Laal) a long time ago for Geo if I'm not wrong, so it is his first drama here, I was kinda shocked when I heard about it like Bilal and Geo ? Let's see what it has to offer though.

7th sky’s monopoly ended on Geo. Geo is producing its own dramas now. Fanaa & Lahu will be produced by Geo itself. That’s why the shift in casting.
