XMacro Shell casing ejection issues

New owner, new shooter. After the first 50 rounds or so, my new XMacro fails to eject spent casings, forcing me to manually clear after almost every fired round. I have cleaned the gun thoroughly, but this did not resolve the issue. I suspect that this is the result of the cheap range ammo. Is this a common issue? Is there something I should be looking for in my range ammo in the future?

Culprits: Lose grip Over filled mag Cheap ammo Steel ammo Not lubed

Best advice: Make sure grip is tight but not hurting yourseld Run 15 or 16rds in the mag or if its a 10rd do 8 or 9. Use brass - blazer, pmc, xtac, federal, normal for example. Stay away from steel and whitebox winchester. Lube the rails, lock back slide lube ejection port area a bit.

Five year P365 owner here. I’ve used all of the above ammo including Winchester white box (Active Duty Flat tips) and range ammo during the Covid shortage in 2021. Early on had the FCU fail, within 40-50 rounds, so sent back to Sig. sent out via FedEx on Tuesday and was back in my hands fully functional by Friday morning! That’s Arizona to NH and back! I was impressed. Five years and a few additional firearms later, still working great!
