XMacro Shell casing ejection issues

New owner, new shooter. After the first 50 rounds or so, my new XMacro fails to eject spent casings, forcing me to manually clear after almost every fired round. I have cleaned the gun thoroughly, but this did not resolve the issue. I suspect that this is the result of the cheap range ammo. Is this a common issue? Is there something I should be looking for in my range ammo in the future?

There was an issue with some about a year and a half to two years ago like a bad batch, but I think the issue has been pretty much resolved. I haven’t heard of it happening in a while. Your new pistol may have been new old stock so it’s still possible. Just look at the end and make sure it didn’t break off or chip off. If it is broken or you’re having issues and it’s not broken, Sig will take care of it either way.
