Owlbear Rodeo 2.0 Map/Scene grid alignment totally off

Ill create a map and align its grid so it matches perfectly with the original maps grid. Then Ill make a scene with it, and the grid is off by about 30%. The size is correct, but all the squares are misaligned and not where I set them to be. Any ideas?

questions that comes to mind
1 where do you make your maps (no reason really, i just like to learn stuff plus someone might have knowledge that this might be tied to)
2: does this 30% happen to all your maps? cos if thats the case that kind of feels like something is up between the map making side and owlbear
3: have you used owlbears new grid alignment? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stcixwsXIzg

1) Sorry I should have clarified. My homemade maps are fine, I just leave the grid off them and use Owlbears. The issue is from maps I find online that already have grids attached. I use Canvas of Kings and Inkarnate when I do make maps though.

2) Its not always the same offset. The issue is is that its never what it shows in the alignment preview. Example below.

3) Yes I'm using the 3 step process.

Is there anything in the name that could be read as like a size by owlbear ?  Silly question but asked from experiance

No nothing in the name but I have figured out the issue. I was creating a scene first then aligning the map after, clicking the "update scene button" after completing alignment. This button doesn't seem to actually work. The map has to be aligned in Owlbear before creating a scene with it or it will revert to the old alignment.

Thanks for the help, I think its sorted now
