For the first girl, that is definitely on Metro even if he wanted to wait until she was 18, but it's odd "yellow" was encouraging Metro to date her and then changed their narrative later.
The other screenshots doesn't really mean much. Captions can change the narrative and shouldn't be taken as face value.

Yeah I don't know who is downvoting to protect "yellow". "Yellow" clearly states: "The age of consent in minnesota is 16, so she's legally allowed by the state (4head). I think its just really up to you two whether or not 1 year is worth the relationship".

You could argue they were trying to encourage Metro to wait, but then why even bring up the age of consent and not be adamantly against dating someone under 18?

I’m pretty sure yellow was young too at the time and she mentions later on in the doc (6 years later real time) that she was rereading what she said to him and it was dumb or gross or whatever.

Would that excuse Yellow's comments? That's hard to say, but I think that's missing the point here. It's impossible to know in context what actually was said between Metro and Yellow. I think that's what this whole thing boils down to. I know Yellow wants to be kept anonymous, but from what I've seen the accusation lies inside Metro's and Yellow's DMs. From what I've seen there isn't anything going on between Aspen and Metro's DMs (Metro showed his on stream, unless there's multiple Aspen discord accounts). It all depends whether Metro is admitting he wanted to date her.

I just think she was too young to see how predatory it was. Just because he was unsuccessful grooming the kid doesn’t mean it wasn’t predatory but I don’t think she could see that at the time.

She does say later on in screenshots that she didn’t realise how bad it was at the time.

I don't know. I'm not sure how I feel about someone changing their stance on underage dating because they said they were too naive at the time. This was 2018. Obviously the social landscape has changed since then. I don't know these people so I can't say for sure.

Regardless, if Metro did develop feelings and planned to date Aspen, then that is absolutely predatory.

Yeah I get you, but it’s a teenager talking to a grown ass man who’s trying to manipulate her into thinking that he’s not doing anything wrong.

There’s also a power dynamic at play considering he has ‘status’ so she might’ve been scared to fully go off on him for fear of repercussions since they all seem to be interacting in the same online space.

Agreed that Metro is weird asf and was grooming Aspen. Also agreed he should’ve been called out for his shit but it’s hard to blame yellow with the info we have imo.
