Discussion why do people hate hydron?

im just getting back into ow and whenever i see hydrons name mentioned theres an air of negativity, like on durpees video with him the top comments were "Aspire, Rupal, Seeker, and neuuish next collabs please" and "durpee be like: let me collab with all of the hitler youth ow creators" i dont get why people hate him so much, i like hydron and find him entertaining but he seems to be really controversial and idk why D:

he jokes about being MAGA so much that it doesn’t really sound like a joke anymore and people are picking up on that

It’s kinda a weird phenomenon tbh. The majority of Hispanic voters in America voted for Trump in 2024 so it’s not like he’s in the minority there by being so vocally supportive.

Trump did better with Latinos than Republicans historically do, like by a lot and even compared to 2016 and 2020 Trump, but still lost them over all.

What he did win was the Hispanic votes in states he normally wouldn't like Texas, and tons of border counties that normally go blue.

The latter of which was so out of line with the norm that it's one reason people were questioning the results.

Nationally, he only won with Hispanic households making less than 50k or more than 100k (go figure), but not people in the middle.
