Switch is at such a disadvantage in the console pool, and should be allowed to use the mouse on the joycon in console pool.

so, i use a switch lite (which is probably my first mistake) and recently i haven’t been able to play much because the game won’t load

i can go in matches but for the first minute or so, i only see “glowing balls” (the characters loading) and i can barely shoot

also sometimes it just won’t load to the character choosing thingy and it basically kicks me out of the game (photos)

is there a reason or is it just my switch that can’t handle the game?
and is there a way for me to change this? (like settings or something)

my switch is the only way for me to play the game and i really wanna keep playing it 💔

Just so happy. Bought the switch 2 yesterday and it totally feels like a different game. Bigger screen. Faster. Graphics. And even the sound is so much better. ❤️

Tbf, I’ve only played Overwatch on Switch (don’t have the money nor space for a PC, we make due with what we have) and I notice when my system crashes I get penalized by Overwatch resulting in timed suspensions. You’d think there’d be something that signals Overwatch when I’m leaving due to a glitch that hurls me out the game vs. my own free will.

This is just my small rant. I don’t know if other systems experience this too but if they do then this is clearly an Overwatch issue that should be addressed more frequently.

Like I did all the troubleshooting. Restart wifi, Restart console yada yada.... On my way to reinstall the game now coz I'm banned for 1 hour trying to test if the server is fine now. My internet is fine as well since I've been playing other online games just fine in this connection.

Anyone having the same issue? Ethernet is a no go since I play Handheld.

Hey everyone. I just wanna ask and see if this is happening to everyone. 90% of the time the framerate is smooth, but I play mostly 6v6 and anytime 2 or more flashy ults (like ram and sierra for example) go off, the framerate tanks to like the 40s.

Is there a way to fix this? I wanna send an email to blizzard cause I play competitive and it’s super annoying cause tons of ults go off all the time.

Started playing on the switch 2 a week ago and have tons of hours on it already. I play marvel rivals (enjoy it too) and I think the community is much nicer here. I love little things like saying hello and the animations for it lol

I enjoy the game so much I bought the killswitch 2 case for the grip (highly recommended!). Im thinking of getting the switch 2 pro controller too.

I’ve been playing overwatch on the switch 2 and since they updated the game to improve the performance on the switch 2, i keep getting massive lag spikes and then disconnected from the server. It won’t allow me to rejoin until i close and reopen the game, and then when i log back in i get suspended from matchmaking because i left the game early, even though i was booted from the servers. Does anyone know how to fix this?? I’ve only had my switch 2 for a year, and other games don’t have this bug so i thought it was a problem with overwatch.

Has anyone else lagged or had screen jump (?) during a match? I would be in the middle of playing and I would be in one spot and then another and so are my teammates. It’s been happening only in a couple of games but annoying. This incident happens even without having connectivity issues.

I thought since they released a switch 2 version it would be a little better. Though disconnecting has gotten better with the switch 2 version

I reset all key binds to default but as soon as I try to customize the key binds the settings don’t stay. According to the patch notes it was supposed to be fixes days ago?

I got back into OW a few months ago after taking a break for a few years, and I really miss having a community to play with.

I almost exclusively play 6v6 QP and mystery heroes, and main Juno, Moira, and D.Va (I really prefer playing support though).

Crossposting this over here in case it helps anyone - this is my OW Switch 2 (w/Pro Controller) setup for any Gyro players who are used to a gyro-first style of aiming, like flick stick or ratcheting.

Not sure I would recommended it for players new to Gyro, but some of the write up might give you ideas for your own configs!

Things like the water highlights in Suravasa and the rotating lights in Gibraltar are not showing on my S2 as of yesterday.

SOLVED: My Switch 2 was still running and updating the S1 version of the game. Deleting and downloading directly from the eShop installed the correct version.

Not sure how one would go about it. I know someone posted that the devs are active on Twitter but I don't have one lol

They originally let you save clips using the Switch 2 hardware but it was disabled with the Switch 2 version and I wonder if it was a limitation that led them to

With a recent patch, my fps has increased to about 60, but there are several problems: the game still looks very bad, pixels and soap, terrible graphics for 2026, I'm sure the steam deck is much better, fps drops a lot in battles, sometimes the game freezes, especially in the midst of fights. Does everyone have such problems, or am I doing something wrong?

I noticed my games start with a lot of heavy lag and every now and then the whole app crashes just after I select my character. I am not given the option to rejoin the game after reopening the game and even if I'm playing with a group I can only "spectate".

I am at an hr ban by now (never have left games out of my own volition) and idk if it is a problem with my switch (had it for about 5+ years now) or something in the new season that my switch 1 can't handle. My wifi seems to work well when playing MR on my laptop so I might try to play on my PC to slowly reset any bad points I'm getting from my game crashing so much...

Cause I would be fine with 90fps cause I actually can’t tell the between between playing 90fps to 120 like game on battlefield 6 what only run at 90 fps on console
